In the Old Testament, God promised to make the children of Israel a kingdom of priests if they obeyed the covenant and kept His Word (Exodus 19:5-6). Their becoming a kingdom of priests was pre-conditioned on their obedience to God’s voice. However, in the New Testament, the Bible says Jesus has made us kings and priests unto God: ”and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father; to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen” (Revelation 1:6).
This isn’t a promise or something that’ll happen in the sweet by and by; it’s a present hour reality. That means this isn’t something you grow into when you’re older or “more spiritual.” It is who you are right now, even as a teenager. Jesus has made us kings and priests unto God. But the question to ask then is, to what intent did He make us kings and priests? Revelations 5:10 gives us the answer— He made us kings and priests to reign and rule in the earth.
The Message Translation says, “He has made us Priest-kings to rule over the earth.” That means you’re not a victim of your circumstances, your school environment, or your background. You’re a master in life. You have authority over the devil and the negative forces of the world. Kings make decrees, not entreaties. That’s why the Bible says, “Where the word of a king is, there is power” (Ecclesiastes 8:4).
This means you don’t have to beg God to do things He’s already authorised you to handle. When you pray, issue commands as a king. Stop saying, “Oh God, please help me not to be scared,” and start saying, “I command fear to leave, in Jesus’ Name!” Having the consciousness that you’re a king will eradicate all beggarly prayers from your life.

After Jesus rose from the dead, He appeared to His disciples. But one of them, Thomas, wasn’t there. When the Lord appeared to the disciples on another occasion, Thomas was present and the Lord said to Him, ”Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing” (John 20:27). With trembling hands, Thomas
reached out his hand, felt the holes in the Master’s hands and the hole in His side.
Awed at this, Thomas could say nothing else but, ”My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28)! Peter had called Him, “the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16), but Thomas saw Him in a new light. Notice that when Thomas addressed Him as God, Jesus didn’t say, “No, Thomas, don’t call me God; you’re going too far.” He accepted it because Thomas spoke reality. Jesus is Himself God. The Bible says, ”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).
At some point, your faith can’t just be what your parents believe, what your pastor says, or what you hear in church. It has to become real to you. You’ve got to come to that point in your life where you recognise that Jesus is Himself God. The Bible tells us that the fullness of the Godhead bodily dwells in Jesus Christ. When you see Jesus, you wouldn’t need to look out for the Holy Spirit or the Father; He is the complete embodiment of Deity.
No wonder Colossians 1:16-19 says, ”For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist… For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell.” This is not just theology for adults; this is about the risen Christ you believe in, the One who lives in your heart and walks with you every day, even at school or with your friends. Glory to God!

John described Jesus as ”…the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world” (John 1:9). There are other lights in the world, but Jesus is the true light! As long as you’ve received Him into your heart and follow Him, you’ll never again walk in darkness. Why is that? It’s because the true light now shines from within you. Light is that which describes; in other words, it shows you what exists.
If you entered a pitch dark room, with no flicker of light, even though that room may be beautifully adorned with state-of-the-art décor, furniture and electronic gadgets, it would be impossible for you to see and appreciate their beauty. That’s because there’s no light describing or showing you the things present in that room. In the same way, when a man doesn’t have Jesus in his life, he can’t know what true success, fulfilment, peace and prosperity are.
Such a fellow gropes in darkness and in utter hopelessness—journeying aimlessly, with a ticket to nowhere. Restless will he be until he finds his rest in Christ Jesus, Who is the True Light that lights every man that comes into this world. He’ll light your life with success, peace, health, joy and prosperity. That means you don’t have to guess your way through school, friendships, or your future. The Light lives in you.
You’re not confused, lost, or stuck. You have divine direction. Recognise Jesus today as the light of your life; recognise Him as the only true light that can guide you in the right path; hearken diligently to His Word, for His Word is light (Psalm 119:105)

Today, look for an opportunity to be a light to someone. It could be a word of encouragement, sharing a scripture, or sharing a copy of the Rhapsody of Realities TeeVo.
I feel so ordinary—same struggles, same drama, same me,” Asher groaned. “You’re not ordinary. The moment you gave your life to Jesus, God’s own life—Zoe—began to flow through you. That’s not ordinary human life; that’s divine, indestructible life. You’re carrying God’s DNA now!” Grace encouraged. When Jesus came into this world, He came to do much more than merely die for our sins. He identified His mission in John 10:10: ”…I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
His death was actually a means to an end: to give us “life in its fullest.” That life is eternal life. Eternal life is not life that goes on endlessly; it’s the life of God. The Greek word is “Zoe,” the essence and quality of divinity! It is the quality of life that God possesses. The Bible says, ”He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God” (1 John 5:12-13).
So, eternal life isn’t something you’re going to have in the sweet by and by; it’s not a promise but a present-hour reality. It’s the possession of the one who has received Jesus. This new life is the life of God. It’s the very nature of God. Your human life was supplanted with the life and nature of God, the very minute you received Jesus as Lord and Saviour of your life. That life in you makes you indestructible and supernatural. This means you’re not just an ordinary teenager trying to survive school and social pressure. You carry the God-life. You carry divine wisdom, strength, creativity, and boldness inside you. Glory to God!

lot of folks know that Jesus defeated Satan through His death on the cross, but not many know exactly how the Master did it. When Jesus died, He didn’t ascend to heaven that same day; He had been made sin for us (2 Corinthians 5:21) and so had to go to hell on behalf of all men. When He got to hell, there was an actual combat between Jesus and the forces of darkness. The Bible says, ”the hostile princes and rulers He shook off from Himself, and boldly displayed them as His conquests…” (Colossians 2:15, WNT).
In hell, all the demons grappled with Jesus; they tried to make Him bow to Satan, but Jesus declined and threw them off Him: He then defeated Satan and rendered him powerless. The Bible tells us that Jesus went over to the side of Hades where Abraham’s bosom was, opened the prison doors, and led out all the righteous men that were in there, including Abraham, David, Solomon and many others (Ephesians 4:8).
It doesn’t matter to us whatever hierarchy of demons exists; they’re all powerless. Jesus has defeated their overall boss, and that victory is yours! Remember, the Bible doesn’t say, ”Resist demons, and they’ll flee from you”; it says ”Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
The boss of all demons himself flees from you, terrified when you resist him in the Name of Jesus, much less his little demons. So, when fear tries to creep in before an exam, when peer pressure hits, or when negative thoughts whisper that you’re not enough, remind yourself: the devil is already defeated. You’re not trying to win. You already won in Christ.
