Glowy. I need opinions from a prospero profesional. If prospy was an animal, which one would he be?
Aw I wouldn't call myself a Prospero PROFESSIONAL
But-
Here's some animals that I personally associate with Prospero!!
Red Doberman
When I think of Pro, this is the first animal that comes to my mind!! Dobermans are smart, insanely loyal and protective dogs. I feel like that's pretty Prospero-coded already but then there's also the overall aestethic. Short fur, angular, proud-looking, and this coat color especially fits him very well!
And the clipped ears that Dobermans are famous for offer a way to work his traumas and struggles with conformity into his design if that's something you'd want to do!
Mountain Lion/ Puma/ Cougar
Again, they just scream Pro to me! Mediu sized, intimidating, short fur, brown/red coloration. And apparently they were classified as highly solitary animals before new studies revealed that they might actually be a lot more social than previously thought. That's basically Pro on his journey to make one (1) singular friend.
Red-Tailed Hawk
Again, aestethics. This is a pattern that will continue throughout this post I'm afraid. Intimidating, large, sharp, red/brown. Hawks are notoriously territorial and independent birds. Agressive if they need be in order to protect what's theirs.
Also, this article made me chuckle. Need I say more.
Draft Horse
Not sure on a particular breed. This is one of my faves. Gentle giants. Large, heavy built, perfect for field work. The white socks as a nod to his gloves is such a specific requirement imo.
And the irony of him being a working horse works so well with his prim and proper attitude.
Hare
This one is a bit more personal to my particular HCs and views. Hares are solitary animals. They prefer isolation and are very cautious and wary in nature. But they're also incredibly fragile. It's an unfortunate part of their anatomy. While they try to be brave (so much so that they're known for their fighting spirit in some folklores), it doesn't take much to kill them.
And I feel like Prospero is very much the same. He fought and suffered a lot in order to achieve his goals, even if a lot of people condemned him for it. But what killed him was something so very out of his power. Nothing he could've done would've been able to prevent it. Idk. It makes sense to me.
Thanks so much for this ask Anon!! And I hope it was somehow of help!
