I fully suspect that the lore of deltarune is entirely separate from the established canon of undertale, and that the only undertale based lore we can work off of is stuff that has been confirmed to also be true in deltarune, like how monsters turn to dust. For example I dont think we can state for sure that Determination is a physical thing yet, at least until there's some in game text stating its use in experimentation or something

Early in chapter 4 when youre gathering clues at the church post sermon, one of Noelle's dialog options has her mention that you(kris) used to help her break into her own house, and that she couldn't do so without you. I think between chapter 4 and 5 after Kris leaves the house without his soul they're breaking into the Holiday mansion to either steal the guitar, or remove the code from it.

When i was about 7, during a particularly bad bout of drinking and depression, my mom told me I was conceived through rape. My dad was and is a part of my life and at that time there was a slowly growing friction between me and him that this information only exacerbated. As I grew up and because more aware of the context of sexual assault I started to blame my own existence for my mother's depression, I became angry, at my dad, and at myself, and as I aged to the point where my peers began to date I found myself in a problem of my own making. I am large, i had little control over my anger, and had convinced myself that if I had been born of rape, then it must be in my nature to become a rapist, and having seen how that destroyed my mother i couldn't let that happen. So I distanced myself from anyone who seemed to be interested in me, avoiding girls, and eventually school in general, stunting my already limited social development out of fear of something easily avoidable. It wasn't until I was 27 that I finally worked through this stuff, and now I find myself in an awkward position. I want to engage with others, want to know if my lacking sex drive is just a result of repression or if it's truly who I am, but because I never really learned How to flirt and all my peers are substantially more experienced at it then I am, it feels like being expected to write the final exam on day one. Not entirely sure why I'm posting this, I guess I just need to be told I'm not broken.
