Was anyone else once just a kid who daydreamed about their favorite characters getting whumped in the most brutal ways you could imagine, thinking that you were some grade-A weirdo, then discovered AO3 and fellow angsty fanfic lovers and suddenly realized that you were merely a lost little creature who had finally found your kind??

Am I the only one who finds it a little rude when Ao3 tells you how many times you've visited a story you have marked for later? Like yes, I know I have visited 8 times since Tuesday. I'm trying to work up the courage to read something new. Quit judging me!
