It wrinkles my brain that Jupiter’s moon Europa has oceans that are sixty miles deep, while Earth’s oceans only reach seven miles deep at most. I’m willing to bet good money that there’s life in Europa’s oceans. Like five bucks. You hear me, NASA? I bet you five bucks that there’s life on Europa… Now that there’s money and reputation on the line, I bet they send a mission there real quick.

I have no idea when this was originally posted, but NASA is working on their Europa mission RIGHT NOW to look for alien life! But get this, they theorize that because of the depth, gravity, and composition of the oceans, any organisms that lived there would be waaay bigger than aquatic life on Earth. So far everything’s going well with regards to their Europa mission so they should have a spacecraft on its way to look for giant sea monsters in space in only a few years. (The planned date is in the early 2020s.)

the 18th century sailor would understand this perfectly well i feel. like honestly ‘there are oceans on celestial bodies and they have giant monsters in them’ feels like the normal assumption we all had to unlearn as space turned out to be mostly kinda boring.

Ice cream is best when it’s warmed up enough to be as soft as whipped cream but still holding its shape. Only certain ice creams under just the right conditions will do this but I find it’s usually lactose-free or entirely non-dairy ice creams that hold together in this state the longest.

oh my god THANK YOU for this. people think im crazy for stirring my ice cream until it becomes soft. it just tastes better this way!!!

I can’t even taste it at all if it’s still totally frozen, it just makes my tongue too numb instantaneously. I thought that was everyone and always wondered how people get much enjoyment out of it that way, though I also have the same issue with food being too hot. I can’t seem to taste much through temperature extremes.

sorry i do really think it’s hysterical that people like harry styles and joe jonas are out there dunking themselves desperately in glitter and wearing little glam rock outfits in an attempt to remain relevant and all gerard way has to do is show up to a gig in his autism comfort jacket, crew socks, combat boots, and a pair of 5-inch inseam shorts and the homosexuals lose their minds. it’s about the ingredient not the seasoning ladies
