Ominous Fortune

‘Where’s Homelander?’ She asked as you pointed towards his office. Homelander’s office door opened and he stepped out he looked at you and narrowed his eyes.

‘Omega, come here,’ he said. You made your way over and he sat down on the couch before pointing at the floor. You knelt down in front of him as Queen Maeve rolled her eyes and sat across from him. You knew Homelander liked to show dominance by showing everyone how obedient you were. He gently caressed your hair as Maeve began to talk, you kept your eyes down. You knew better than to look at alpha’s directly anyway.

While they were talking Homelander gently pulled you up onto his lap with a smirk on his face. ‘Do you have to always be touching her?’ Maeve said as Homelander chuckled and made you straddle his legs.

‘Aw, don’t be jealous Maeve. You’ll find a good little omega one day,’ he said as she rolled her eyes again.

‘Whatever, I’ll see you tomorrow.’ She walked away and you glanced towards the door as she left. Homelander forced your face back to him.

‘Were you checking out the other alpha, darling?’ He said as you quickly shook your head. ‘Say it with words.’

‘No…Alpha,’ you whispered, you struggled to get your words out as he chuckled softly.

‘I love your cute little stutter you have,’ he said as he kissed you softly. You looked at him nervously as he smiled. 'Shh, baby girl. I was just playing around. I know you only have eyes for me,' he said as you smiled a little. He pulled your hips against him and groaned softly. 'When's your next heat, omega?'

'Three weeks,' you whispered as he nodded.

'I want to try and get you pregnant on your next heat,' he said as you cringed internally. That was the last thing you ever wanted, but you didn't have a choice. 'Does that make you excited? Knowing your alpha will get you knocked up?' he said as he began to kiss you neck. He smiled and sucked on the skin of your neck as he forced your hips against him more. 'I can't wait to have you begging for me. Begging your alpha to give you pups,' he growled in your ear. You knew where this was going and tried your best to keep quiet for him.

The next morning Homelander had left for work and you began to clean the apartment. The front door opened and you glanced up in confusion. You saw an Alpha you didn't know and stepped back a little. 'And what do we have here? I forgot Homelander got himself a little omega. You’ll have to excuse me, darling. I was doing a bit of snooping on my son,’ he said as you looked at him in confusion. ‘I’m guessing by that face he didn’t tell you about me? Well, I’m your alpha’s old man.’ He stepped closer and took in your sweet scent. ‘Never smelt an omega like you,’ he said. You stayed still and continued to stare at him, you knew you weren’t meant to look at alphas but you couldn’t help it. You took in a little bit of his scent and realised it wasn’t sickening and overpowering like others. ‘Do you speak, darling?’ He asked as you nodded a little. ‘Let me hear that sweet voice then.’

‘You shouldn’t…be here,’ you whispered, your stutter getting in the way as he smiled and stepped forward.

‘It’s alright, I won’t get you in trouble. Just tell me one thing, darling. Does my son treat you right? An alpha should be protecting and pampering a sweet little thing like you,’ he said as he placed his hand on your hip. You should’ve swatted his hand away or something, but his hand on you felt right. You tried to speak again and felt embarrassed because of your stutter, he smiled and gently rubbed your hip. ‘It’s alright, darling. Just take your time, no need to get embarrassed around me.’

‘He treats me…well,’ you whispered.

‘You don’t sound very convincing, darling. Plus, those bruises and burn marks speak for themselves,’ he said as he gently brought you in closer. He looked at your mating mark and cringed a little. ‘He isn’t even your mate, sweetheart. You were forced to bond with an alpha you’re not even compatible with,’ he said. You felt tears in your eyes and looked away from him. ‘Shh, darling. You don’t need to worry, I’ll keep you safe,’ he whispered as he leaned in and kissed your scent gland. You closed your eyes and felt his calming scent wash over you. ‘You’ve never felt that before, have you darling?’

‘No,’ you whispered as he smiled. He leaned in again and nuzzled into you with a soft groan.

‘I ain’t ever smelt one like you either, darling. You smell so good, baby.’ You leaned your head to the side and your body relaxed even more. He leaned back and held your face in his hand. ‘I think you might be my mate, sweet thing.’ You looked at him with a panicked look in your eyes as he stroked your cheek.

'He'll...kill you,' you whispered.

'You let me handle my son, alright? I'm not letting you stay here with him,' he said as you began to cry softly. You were so overwhelmed, you didn't know what to do. 'My sweet girl, don't cry.' He leaned in and kissed your scent gland again as you felt more of his calming scent wash over you. 'Don't waste another second thinking, my sweet girl. Let me do all the thinking now,' he said as he picked you up. You yelped in shock and wrapped your legs around his waist. You nuzzled into his unmarked scent gland and your eyes practically rolled back in your head. 'There's a good girl. You can smell it, can't you darling?'

'I'm...scared,' you whispered as he carried you into the spare bedroom. He gently laid you down on the bed and began kissing your chest.

'No need to be scared ever again, sweet thing,' he whispered. You felt an ache between your legs and an odd heat overtake your body. It had never happened with another alpha.

'He'll...hurt me,' you stuttered out as he paused and looked at you. He held your face again and smiled.

'I told you to let me handle it, sweet thing. You don't have to do anything but be my sweet girl,' he said as he lifted up your shirt. You grabbed his hands and stopped him as he looked into your eyes. He could see by the look in your eyes that you were fighting your instincts. 'Alright, I won't go any further, darling. But I'm not letting you stay here, I've got somewhere safe I can keep you for now,' he said as he pulled you to stand up. You were surprised an alpha like him even had the self control to stop himself from having sex with you.

'I can't...leave,' you whispered as he looked at you. He smiled and caressed the side of your face.

'Forgive me, sweet thing,' he whispered before he gripped your face and made you look at him. You knew he was using his alpha compulsion on you. 'Go to sleep, my omega. A nice deep sleep for me,' he whispered as you whimpered and gripped his arm. 'Shh, sleep now,' he said as his command took over your body. It only confirmed even more than he was your mate, only mates had such a strong power over each other. He caught you in his arms and picked you up. 'I won't ever let you back here.'

Soldier boy stood in the boys base with you in his arms as they stared at him in disbelief. 'You want us to bloody protect Homelander's omega?' Billy grumbled.

'Yes, this is the safest place for her. You owe me a favour, Butcher. Turns out she's my mate,' he said as Billy groaned and rubbed his head.

'So, your son's omega is your mate? Not fucked up at all is it,' he said.

'Yeah, well it isn't fucking ideal. Either way I need you to take care of her and keep her here,' Soldier boy said. 'Plus, she'll have useful information on him.'

'And how do you think she'll go when she wakes up with a bunch of strange alphas she's never met?'

'I'll stay here until she wakes up and explain it. All you have to do is keep her here for a while. She's a good little thing, she'll even cook and clean if she has to,' he said as Billy scoffed. 'I need to remove his mark as soon as possible and mark her as mine.'

'Has she actually said yes to any of this?' Marvin asked.

'She's an omega, and my mate. It's in her dna to want this,' Soldier boy said.

'She should still get a damn choice,' he said as Soldier boy rolled his eyes. You began to wake up as you whined and your body trembled slightly. They knew your body would react to being so far away from your alpha. Soldier boy knelt beside you and gently played with your hair.

'Easy, darling. You're nice and safe now,' he said as you opened your eyes. You could sense the other alphas and immediately tensed up as you looked around. You tried to speak but nothing came out as tears started to form in your eyes. 'Shh, darling. It's alright, they won't hurt you. You're just gonna stay here for a bit so I can keep you away from Homelander. Billy is a friend,' he said. Billy looked at you and couldn't help but feel pity for you. He knew Homelander would be a ruthless alpha, it didn't help that you couldn't even speak properly either.

'She can't speak?' Frenchie asked.

'She can, it's just limited. I don't know why,' Soldier boy explained as the team nodded. You grabbed his wrist and looked at him with utter terror in your eyes. 'You're gonna be much safer here.'

'Maybe you should bloody mark her before you go so Homelander can't find her,' Billy said as you kept your eyes on Soldier Boy. He held your face and smiled softly.

'I know you're scared, but it's the only way to ensure he can't find you, okay?' he said as you looked into his eyes and nodded. You knew it would probably hurt, but he felt better than any alpha and you never wanted to go back to Homelander.

'Use the spare room, there's a mattress in there,' Billy said as Soldier boy nodded and picked you up. Marvin quickly stopped you both and looked at you, you weren't used to alphas looking you in the eye.

'Wait... Do you want this?' he asked. You stared at him in shock as you thought for a moment.

'Can't...go back,' you whispered as he nodded. He felt bad for you considering you had to bond with someone just to be safe.

'Do you think soldier boy is your mate? Can you feel it?' he asked. You glanced at soldier boy and felt your body calming down again before you nodded. Marvin nodded as well and stepped back. 'Don't hurt her.'

'I won't,' Soldier boy said as he carried you into the spare room. He laid you down on the bed as you looked up at him. 'This will start your heat early. I know it's not ideal but it'll keep you safe,' he said as you nodded. It wasn't exactly what you wanted, but nothing you had to do was because you wanted it. You looked at him as he held your face. 'I won't hurt you, sweet thing.'

After Soldier boy had successfully removed Homelander's mark and bonded with you he had to head back to Vought. You were in the spare room and writhing as your heat kicked in. The door opened and you glanced up to see Billy with some food.

'Shouldn't...be here,' you whispered.

'It's alright, darling. Got my alpha dna removed years ago,' he said as you looked at him in confusion. You didn't even know that was a thing.

'Can...be removed?' you whispered as you sat up.

'Illegally, yeah. Worth it though, don't gotta worry about goddamn dna getting in the way,' he said. You slowly sat up and looked at him with exhaustion in your eyes.

'I...wish I was...an alpha,' you whispered. Billy sighed and sat down as he handed you the food.

'I don't blame ya, luv. Can't imagine what that depraved freak did to you,' he said as he looked at your fresh mating mark. 'You need me to treat it?'

'No...' you whispered as you began to eat.

'Alright, darlin. I got your bloody lunch,' he said as he opened the cage and threw the body in. He watched with a smirk as you and your tendrils devoured the body. 'Atta girl,' he whispered as he listened to your sounds like we're similar to purring.

Once you were finished you looked up at him and wiped your mouth as he smiled. 'Should we get you cleaned up, darlin?' he asked as he opened the cage again. You rushed out and tackled him to the ground as he chuckled and let your tendrils roam around him. You giggled and nuzzled into him. 'You're getting blood on me, darlin.' You looked at him and smiled as he held your face. 'Come on, darlin. You need a damn shower,' he said as he stood up and let you cling to him. He dragged you to the bathroom and started the shower as he helped you out of your clothes. Once you were out he took his off as well and guided you into the shower. The boys thought his relationship with you was rather odd, but he didn't give a shit what they thought about it. He didn't even care to question exactly what the relationship was. He grabbed some soap and began to clean your skin as your tendrils wrapped around him affectionately. He chuckled as he washed your hair and watched you mumbled to yourself. You couldn't fully speak English, but he knew you at least understood him. Billy would never see you in a sexual way, you were too innocent and childish for him to ever think that. Once you were clean of any blood Billy dried himself off first before he dried you off and got you into new clothes. You looked up at him with a grin as he chuckled and ruffled your hair. 'You're so bloody cute, darlin. Hard to think you just devoured a whole dead body,' he said as you giggled and hugged him. 'Come on, now it's my turn to eat.'

Billy indulged in some left over pizza as you crawled around the base and let your tendrils search around. The boys entered and looked down at you, they were still cautious of you.

'Uh... Has she eaten?' Hughie asked as you looked up and giggled.

'Yes, she's had a big feed,' Billy said as the team nodded. Annie entered and looked down at you.

'This is the supe you have? What is she?' she muttered as you looked up at her and growled. Billy knew you were a bit weird around women considering your old handler who abused you was a woman.

'Oi, come here, luv.'

You looked at Billy and rushed over to him and crawled onto his lap.

'And I see Billy has her trained like a dog already,' Annie muttered. Your tendrils wrapped around Billy as you growled again. He gently held your hip.

'Easy, darlin. She won't hurt you,' he said. You nuzzled into him and kept your eyes on Annie. 'She's a bit weird with women.'

'Alright, Annie and I are going,' Hughie said as he pulled her away.

'Maybe we should study her a bit more before you let her tendrils almost devour you,' Marvin said as you cuddled into Billy and purred softly. He chuckled and played with your hair.

'She's bloody harmless...mostly. She won't hurt us,' he said.

'We don't know how dangerous or unpredictable she is,' Frenchie said.

'She knows to listen to me and not hurt anyone. I'm your master, ain't I love?' Billy said as you giggled and nodded.

'She's got you wrapped around her finger,' Marvin grumbled as you closed your eyes and curled up against Billy. He smiled and began to massage your scalp as you let out a big yawn. He loved whenever you were tired and curled up against him like this. Your tendrils stayed curled around him as you began to fall asleep.

Eventually you had calmed down and you turned around on the bed to face Hannibal. 'Dr. Lecter,' you whispered as he offered you a soft smile.

'There's that pretty face. Do you want to tell me why you don't want to leave you room?' he asked. You looked at him with a nervous gaze as he reached forward and brushed your hair out of your face.

'You won't believe me. No one does,' you whispered.

'Why don't you tell me anyway, my darling? No matter what it is, I can help you through it,' he said with a smile.

'One of the new nurses keeps touching me. Not in a way nurses usually do. She touches my bottom a lot and sometimes my chest. She keeps saying she wants to do more,' you whispered as Hannibal's face fell. 'I told the head doctor and she said that's just what I perceived it as and it wasn't actually that.'

'The nurses shouldn't be touching you at all, darling. They can help patients bathe if they really need that help, but you're more than capable of doing things on your own.'

'I don't want to tell anyone else. What if they kick me out and I go somewhere worse?' you whispered with tears in your eyes.

'Y/N, I would never ever let that happen. I'm your psychologist, wherever you go so do I. I wouldn't let you go somewhere bad. Let me talk with the doctor and I can understand this better. I promise form the bottom of my heart that you won't be in trouble, alright?' he said as you smiled sadly and nodded. 'Until then I'll get someone to bring you breakfast in bed,' he said with a smile before he stood up.

Hannibal made his way to the main doctor and saw her at her desk. 'Doctor, I wanted to talk to you about Y/N. She told me she tried to report a nurse,' he said as she looked up.

'Yes, she did. I spoke with the nurse and she said it was nothing more than innocent touches on her back to coax her somewhere. She's a sweet girl and wouldn't ever hurt the patients,' the doctor said. Hannibal did his best to stay calm as he stepped forward. 'I've reviewed cameras and I've never seen her treat a patient unfairly.'

'And what if this nurse does it in places where there's no cameras?' Hannibal asked.

'This is an isolated report. Y/N has been known to escalate things in her mind,' she said.

'Even if she is escalating it, she feels unsafe. That means you need to keep that nurse away from her,' Hannibal said as the doctor sighed.

'Fine, I'll make sure she isn't in Y/N's group anymore.'

A few days later you were heading to the showers when you saw the nurse you had reported. She saw you and grabbed your arm and dragged you into the bathrooms where there was no cameras. 'Are you trying to get me fired?'

'No... I was just uncomfortable with how you touch me,' you whispered as you looked away from her. She grabbed your face and forced you to look at her.

'I never touched you, sweetheart. You need to stop making things up to get attention. You're being a naughty girl, aren't you?' she said as she backed you against the wall. She smiled and gently ran her hand through your hair. 'You're lucky you're such a pretty thing, darling. If you weren't I would beat your fucking skull into the bathroom wall,' she said as you began to cry. She chuckled and leaned in to force her lips against yours. You screamed and punched her before running out of the bathrooms. You ran as fast as you could to the doctors office and burst through the doors.

'Y/N! What in gods name are you doing?'

'She's trying to touch me! She kissed me,' you shouted through your tears.

'Y/N! You need to calm down before I get a nurse to sedate you,' she said as you sobbed.

'I want Dr. Lecter! Call him!' you screamed as she hit the panic button under her desk. You continued to scream as two nurses walked in and grabbed you. They injected you with a sedative as you screamed and cried.

Hannibal showed up for your weekly appointment and the receptionist told him you had been in isolation this whole time. His jaw clenched as he stormed to the head doctors office. 'Why is my patient in isolation?'

'Because she has been acting violent and erratic and harassing the nurses,' she said.

'I'm going to talk to her,' he said as he left towards isolation. He entered to see you looking terrible. Your hair matted, your skin pale and your eyes dark underneath. He could see you were malnourished and had a few bruises. You saw him and immediately broke down in tears. You rushed forward and hugged him tightly. He knew he wasn't meant to touch patients, but shoving you away would've made all this a lot worse so he just held you. 'It's alright, my darling. It's alright, I'm here.'

'She touched me again and kissed me and I tried to stop it and they sedated me,' you cried out as he held you tighter.

Hannibal comforted you until you had calmed down, once you did he brought you back to your room where you collapsed onto your bed. 'I'll be back soon, okay? I'll make sure no one enters your room. I'm going to sort all of this out,' he said as you nodded and held your teddy.

Hannibal made his way to the security room and logged in to view the cameras. He found the day the nurse had assaulted you and saw her dragging you into the bathrooms. He saved the footage and sent it to one of his colleagues so he knew it was backed up before he confronted the doctor.

'I found footage of one of your nurses dragging Y/N into the bathrooms.'

'That doesn't prove anything. Perhaps she was a bit rough, but Y/N is difficult,' she said. Hannibal looked at the nurses file and then back to the doctor.

'And she just so happens to be your daughter? No wonder you cover up her sexual assaults.'

'My daughter has never assaulted a patient! How dare you say that,' she said.

'I'll give you two days to fire that nurse or you'll be gone as well,' he said as the doctor scoffed.

'Now you're threatening me?'

'No, I'm telling you that you will be out of a job if you don't fire that nurse. Choose wisely,' he said before leaving. He made his way back to your room and smiled. 'Listen, my dear. While this stuff gets sorted out I'm going to transfer you to a different ward. It's only a few levels up, but it will just make sure you're safe while this gets sorted out,' he said as you nodded a little.

'You're not going to leave me, right?' you whispered as he smiled.

'I'm not going anywhere.'

Two days later the doctor still hadn't done anything, so with the help of Will they had released some damming evidence again the doctor and her daughter which ensured they would never work again. Hannibal was having one of his colleagues take over for the time being while they found another doctor. When he visited you a month later you were already in much better spirits. He sat down in the main room where you were working on some crafts. 'How are you feeling, my dear?'

'Good... Thank you for everything,' you whispered as he smiled. 'And thank you for believing me.'

'No, we don't Billy. We need to just forget it happened,' you muttered as his grip tightened.

'We're bloody talking about it whether you like it or not,' he said as you dragged you to the couch. You sat down with a huff beside him and kept your eyes away. 'I'm sorry for what happened, Y/N.'

'Me too... I know you didn't want it,' you muttered as he looked at you in confusion.

'That's why you've been avoiding me, love? Cause you think I didn't want it?' he asked.

'It's not fair,' you muttered.

'I know, darlin, but it happened.'

'No! It's not fair, I wanted my first time to be with someone who actually wants me!' you shouted as Billy stared at you in shock.

'Sweetheart... That was your first time, ever?' he muttered as you quickly ran to your room and locked the door. Billy sighed and rubbed his head. He hadn't thought you would be a virgin considering you were twenty seven. Billy found you pretty attractive, he thought he was obvious about it. Yeah you were a lot younger than him but he definitely wouldn't say no if you asked.

He knocked on your door. 'Darlin, please just let me in. We'll talk about it, I ain't angry at you.' The door opened and you glanced at him. 'You don't need to be embarrassed, darlin.'

'Im not embarrassed, I'm upset. My first time had to be because someone was forced into it,' you said as Billy sighed and pulled you to your bed.

'If it helps I didn't need much bloody convincing,' he said as you looked at him in confusion.

'What do you mean?'

'Come on, darlin. I know you're young but you ain't that daft. I find any bloody excuse to be close to you or touch you,' he said. You kept your eyes on him.

'I thought you were just protective... I've never had anyone hit on me or be interested in me,' you muttered.

'Well, the world is bloody blind darlin. You're fuckin stunning,' he said as you blushed and looked away. Billy reached up and tucked your hair behind your ear. 'Listen, let's forget what happened, okay? That wasn't your first time,' he said as you nodded a little.

'Yeah, yeah we can forget it,' you muttered begore Billy pulled you to straddle his lap.
