yep!!! Leia has them stronger thanks to being a lot more intune w the force, but she doesn't know they're of her twin and not just a recurring dream. she also doesn't know why her dad's so interested in hearing abt her boring dreams loll

the bigwig imperials are generally the ones to realise it's anakin and foolishly think "oh amazing! my men will take down skywalker and i'll get super duper promoted!" while all the stormtroopers etc are like "sir we can't go down there..." "you can't disobey me! that's an order" "and that's anakin skywalker sir. we're gonna die"

same as canon, so the latter! and very badly ): obvs a lot of his bestie clones died on the venator crash (ahsoka and rex do take him to the grave site at some point. they have a little cry together and don't talk about that moment again) but whenever he runs into another 501st he's lowkey useless bc he just won't kill them. he can't. they HAVE to be in there somewhere (even tho he knows it's the chip and he can't disable it) he just can't kill them

unfortunately he got kentucky fried by Palps' lightning and thrown out a window like canon ): like 99% sure all the Jedi that die in canon also die in this au (the 1% is to leave me room in case I change my mind)

ok realistically for the first SEVERAL years Anakin's absolutely the better fighter (+ he isn't blinded by parasocial hate like starkiller) but he does have a lot less resources at his disposal so that balances out the fights. that being said I think it'd be really funny if every time they duel there's some interruption (like the base they're on blowing up or some allies of theirs separating them somehow) so they never actually finish a fight for the first like... 10-15 years

neither parent rlly has a lot to say abt their other child bc they dont know them ): but yes padme and anakin talk abt each other to their respective twin!! w padme talking abt anakin it's definitely in more oblique terms bc she has to lie abt him not being a jedi, but anakin talks abt padme pretty much as she is

since then she's more careful and lets him learn flying the PROPER way with fancy tutors n stuff loll (cause hey, like u say, rich kid!). probably goes on some kinda summer flight camp or smthn and leaves having made every one of the instructors question their own skill

palps knows she loves democracy and begins to suspect some rebel affiliations so he sics the ISB on her. but she is good, even better than you'd expect a former child-queen-of-war-and-career-politician w a load of handmaidens to be so the ISB don't find shit for YEARS. but all it takes is one teeny weeny tiny loose thread of half-evidence that padme left bc she wasn't careful enough ONCE and the fascists have their excuse /:

anyway all this to say cal's involvement was a tiny-mentioned cameo to explain why anakin knew how to infiltrate nur (the exact line i wrote in the never-finished-script was "we met this jedi survivor a few years back" + comments abt said survivor inflitrating nur 10 years ago yes it was that unsubtle) -- the idea was they had run into one another on a short mission in the past and then gone their separate ways!
