Hot take but I actually love it when internet celebrities stay vague as fuck about their personal lives. Like go girl give us nothing, but for real. Protect your peace queens.
I’ve been loving the content The Try Guys have been making.
I should rewatch Slugterra, the 2012 animated series.
The Apple business isn’t providing enough for the Apple family and Twilight still would rather not attend the gala at all because she couldn’t choose.

“I'm not your anything, and you're not mine.”
What’s your favorite Cass concept art we’ve seen from the artbook?
Honestly, this one's pretty rad, and we haven't really talked about it yet.
First, her eyes are straight up glowing. Even Rapunzel's aren't doing that, despite the magic glow right there. Casting Cassandra almost entirely in the shadow while Rapunzel is in the light is what this story is all about. And I know this art was made before they'd decided whether or not Cassandra knew Gothel was her mother and was just biding her time. (From what I understand, as of writing "Challenge of the Brave," they still hadn't fully decided.)
Second, I'm a sucker for archers and hoods, so the early concepts that leaned more into that look for her suit my aesthetic quite nicely.
My headcanon is that Tecna is also Asian because I too was told to show no emotion.
Something i like from Tangled the series is that Rapunzel is clever? She is naive because of the way she was raised and thus she isn't able to understand certain social cues like boundaries. However, that doesn't make dumb, just naive.
But she is able to come up with traps, she was able to prove one of her friends' innocence by carrying out a whole investigation, she came up with multiple inventions on her own even though some of them already existed (without her knowing), she quickly figured out where Pascal went to in the Pascal's story episode, among other things.
I like that because she is positive and sees the good in others that doesn't make her ¨dumb¨ unlike other characters from her type that are often potrayed like that.
Dick: Wally and I are dating now
Barbara: Yeah I've known that for a while now.
Dick: We just started.
Barbara: Then what the fuck were you doing before that?

I only just realised I didnt post this
Bruce: Here *sets down jar on kitchen table*
The whole room stops, and Tim stares wide-eyed at the jar before backing away in slight disgust
Tim: What is that? Aren’t you supposed to be on bed rest?
Bruce: Your spleeeennnn
Tim: What?
Dick: What.
Bruce: You got sick last month, and it was bad… I felt bad… spleen…
Jason: *turning to Tim* You were missing your spleen? When the hell were you gonna tell anyone?!
Tim: Slipped my mind, anyway, how did you find out?
Bruce: I go into the League of Assassins servers and whatnot from time to time ever since Damian came into the family, no biggie
Duke: And you...?
Bruce: Infiltrated them about two hours ago to steal back your brother's spleen?
Bruce: Yes
Steph: Are you on drugs? You sound like you’re on drugs. What did Alfred give you?
Bruce: I don’t remember, something for my broken ribs
Cass: *standing up and leading Bruce to sit down in a chair* How many?
Bruce: Three, not a big deal. Anyways, spleen. *grins widely*
Jason: Wait... you infiltrated the League of Assassins while high
Bruce: *looks confused* What, like it's hard?
Damian: *had left the room earlier, is now back with a glass of cold water* Baba, please drink
Bruce: *takes glass and ruffles Damian’s hair* Thank you, baby, you’re so good to me. I love you so much *starts kissing his cheeks while Damian weakly tries to escape*
Dick: … *only slightly jealous* I’m calling Alfred
Duke: *poking Bruce’s forehead only to get a blinding smile back* Bruce is kinda cute like this, all dopey and stuff
why do you have my spleen 😭
Forever grateful that the Teen Titans cartoon had to be relatable to kids and age appropriate, so when they portrayed the "older man is a creep with teenage girl and involves her in a scheme to betray a team of heroes" they had to actually portray her as the victim being manipulated, make him as the real bad guy, and be sympathetic toward her, and make it a pretty effective metaphor for abuse (I mean not really a metaphor even, he did actually hit her, but the whole thing where he literally started to control her body and BB says she can still make a choice to leave and she does take control was very obviously talking about that)
Rather than have said man rape a fifteen year old and then say it was totally her fault and she was the evil one actually.
I will argue that the kiddie cartoon version of the Judas contract was actually a better and more effective story til the day I die, simply because it could not 1. have Beast Boy commit a shitton of sexual harassment and then excuse it in general (actually I guess they could have done a PG version of it, other cartoons have, so you know, props to them for clearing the bar of fully excising that and making him a sympathetic character instead) and actually made him and Terra have a real relationship where you ended up feeling sorry for both of them and 2. cutting out a lot of the horrible misogyny that permeated that arc.
it's always someone else who sings while im left waiting in the wings~
i really love how this turned out looking like a rapunzel piece when in reality it's supposed to be a cass piece— i feel like that perfectly encapsulates the entire point of her song <3
you guys remember comics? that shit was good or bad, depending 💯

Damian: My new thing is "fakon." It’s like real bacon.
Jason: Except for the look, the texture, and the taste.
Damian: Maybe the store bought kind, but I make my own, so it’s not even real fakon. It’s faux-fakon. "Faux-kon."
Jason: It’s faux-kon disgusting.
"wfa is stupid/dumb" did you know that wfa is one of the only accessible batman mediums with a majority of the batfam in it? did you know that people who aren't familiar with these characters aren't going to buy every new issue because the comicsphere is confusing and figuring out how to actually buy comics is confusing and people rarely discuss it? did you know that, by trashing on wfa, you make comic fandom more unapproachable?
i kind of talked about this when i made my post about fandom and ai, but it's hating on the easiest sources of media that turns a lot of people away from fandom initially. when they come in with an appreciation for a piece of media and constantly get backlash because it isn't good or that it's the "comic for babies", that doesn't make them feel like they could contribute at all. that's insulting. nobody likes to be insulted.
is that to say that there isn't valid criticism about wfa? no. but simply saying it sucks does a large disservice to new batman fans that were able to learn about more obscure characters from a source that wasn't a lot of money. we can have mature, reasonable discourse and not just pushing anyone down that likes it.
this is just so personally annoying to me, because i only got into batman because i read wfa, then my comics love grew as i spread out. the people who like wfa will continue to like the batman canon as they find more of it in whatever they pursue, but if you nip their enthusiasm in the bud then you will never see them do that.
comics elitism is crazy
