‘Bet Bones would be the master of dad jokes. Imagine Bones and the bridge team sitting around one day and Bones is like “Hey. What does a wicked chicken lay?” “Bones, no.” groans Jim.  “Deviled eggs.” Silence. Absolute silence. Not a sound. Even Bones himself isn’t impressed in the slightest. But there’s sound of a startled, bit off laugh and everyone turns. And it’s Spock.

We suspect Chekov never received swimming lessons. We may have thrown him into a lake on shore leave. We assumed he would float. He did not. There was a lot of screaming. Bones had to go in and get him. Jim said we aren’t allowed near bodies of water anymore.
