if an author thinks her character is sexual/aromantic, she will say so. the only evidence to yelena belova being asexual is one line from a comic and a devin grayson interview from 2020 stating yelena is "probably more likely to be asexual than to follow nat's romantic path." this is obviously meant to leave it to the reader's interpretation. it is also of note that previously, she talks about how nat would throw herself into passionate and intense love affairs, and she wanted to create a comparison to that for yelena. she was by no means expressing that yelena doesn't experience romance at all.
don't get me wrong, i see where people are coming from with this headcanon and i find it cool that a lot of aroace marvel fans see themselves in her, have even made her this kind of mascot for the community. but that's all it is, a headcanon.
and we need to stop policing people around for shipping her with literally anyone, man or woman, because the only thing that does is destructing fandom spaces for other people. everyone can have their own opinion on a character, but you need to be able to coexist with other people of other opinions.
please read up on information before you try to make a point with it.
