i think your art would taste like earl grey tea with a bit of orange (cozy but cloudy), but also something cinnamon. maybe gingersnap cookies. tea and cookies. long story short, it's very delicious and i am feasting on it.

Without the context, it still somehow feels so homesick. He is always alone. Almost always muzzled, always with this blank or tired expression. Never really in the same spot. The characterization is immaculate with nothing but the visuals.

i think my ultimate goal with a lot of those pieces is to grant him some level of freedom, but the fact it’s always just a glimpse of it (and we as audience know it) tends to bring a lot of that melancholy in. & i really enjoy kind of figuring out a balance in that (or sometimes unintentionally ending up with it lol)

his winter soldier days break my heart to think about so i often use art to get through that, yknow— putting him in picturesque places and having something beyond everything else. even if it’s just for a moment.
