Top: Pokédex entries for the "PokéGods" Doomsay and Doomsday, created by the website Pokémon Factory in 1999.
Bottom: A later depiction of Doomsday, created by an unknown artist at a later time.
Doomsay and Doomsday appeared on lists of Pokémon set to appear in the upcoming Gold and Silver versions on English language coverage sites as early as November 1998, predating the true height of the PokéGod phenomenon on the early internet.
