The Dodge Charger III was created by Chrysler's advanced styling studios for the 1968 auto show season. A radically futuristic concept that used a jet-fighter-style clamshell canopy which swung upward, accompanied by elevating bucket seats and a swing-away steering pod. There were also air-brake flaps that deployed in conjunction with the regular brakes. It was powered by a Dodge 426 Hemi V8 and was promoted as the most aerodynamic car ever conceived by Dodge at the time.

as someone who is also working to restore a fixer-upper, i'm really fascinated by this guy who is doing the same thing. he's one of the least funny people i've ever heard, and every single aesthetic choice he makes is totally repulsive.
