does anyone else think it would be kind of better if the pc was told at the beginning of the game that a grey warden had to die to end the blight?

i certainly understand the *drama* of telling them right on the eve of battle, but i think having the players have the thought that they will need to either let themself or alistair die in the back of their mind the entire game would be interesting. i think it would make the wardens' emphasis on sacrifice make more sense, and wynne's lectures on how it is a warden's duty to serve and save everyone more impactful.

i also think it would make accepting the dark ritual kind of more of a difficult choice if the player had already accepted this truth, rather than hearing they're going to die and then immediately offering another solution.

Another artfight character ref, started out as an AU version of Luce but kinda became more and more her own thing.

Basically she's everything Luce pretends to be: claiming power not for herself but to have the strength to support those who cannot fight for themselves. All the while losing parts of who she once was.

She's essentially a historical figure, a saint in her setting. Chimeras are rare, she was born a chimera (but not as much as she ended up, just like sheep and some other animal) and claimed the power of more animals becoming even more monstrous in her appearance.

Vultures are also responsible for keeping diseases at bay.

Vulture stomach acid is so powerful that it can kill anthrax and many other deadly diseases.

So when they consume the carcass of a creature that has died of disease, they actually destroy the disease within it too!

So yes vultures are 100% holy creatures because they not only eat the dead, but protect the living from death.
