Bit of background, this is Boulder my barbarian firbolg. When he was child he lived in a forest with a community of many different fey, living off and with the land. his family and the other firbolg were the Druid protectors of their forest. However a tyrant king wanted the land to expand his kingdom and power and slaughtered the community and burned the woods down, the only piece of the forest left being Boulders bear heirloom necklace. The only reason Boulder survived was because of a young kind stranger who found him crawling from the fire and used her magic to save his life, and accidentally gifted him his name. For many years Boulder traveled, with his home forest burned he lost his Druidic magic but stayed connected and in love with nature. However slowly he was being filled with hate and anger for urban civilisation and violence from having to survive on his own. he has now found a small haven of peace in his best friend and travel partner Deloris, the kind stranger from that tragic day that gifted him his life back, after many coincidental meetings they decided to form a friendship and lurk in the forests of the land happy together until they inevitably stumble across the next adventure or quest to fulfil.
