The hike up to this glacier was a dangerous one that day. Normally it continues quite a ways along the ridge to the left. But even getting to this view point was a challenge. The winds were blowing so hard & fast over the glacier that the gusts almost send us tumbling down the mountain. Not to mention the stones pelting down the mountain like bullets.

One of those times we really should have turned back even earlier. But I guess at least it was a good lesson about strong winds and glaciers to relearn before going to Patagonia the next year.
