Mobile tumblr was doing that thing where it squishes posts together and I was really confused at first.

This was said by Charles Meigs AFTER multiple papers had been published showing how important it was that surgeons wash their hands and sterilize their instruments.
The reason? Class. The gentlemen doctors werenât like those dirty poor people.
Which sounds a bit like anti-vaxxers.
Because TODAY, when we were going to see the eradication of measles within in our lifetime, the upper crust decided that their children didnât need to have âchemicalsâ put in their bodies. And why would they need vaccines anyway? Their upper class precious children could never contract measles⌠not like those dirty poor people.

Picking a wedding dress is really hard D:
a lady came into my copy center yesterday and her 5 year old son was wearing a clone trooper mask. i hadnât recognized it off the bat so i asked if he was a storm trooper (to which he happily corrected me) before he paused for a second, moved his mask up so he could look at me and said in this awed tone "you like star wars?â

it was like heâd seen the coming of jesus. i proceeded to tell him im sure heâd be the best clone trooper ever but that personally speaking, id prefer to be a jedi and that i even had mace winduâs lightsaber at home. he paused for a moment, confused, and then âTHATS SO COOL THEY DONT SELL HIS LIGHTSABER AT DISNEYLAND!!!!â
not once did he tell me i couldnât like star wars because it wasnât for girls. if anything, i think it made him over the moon to know that girls could like star wars too! it was a nice thing that happened. :)
