#cook? check #his wife the housekeeper? check #the maid? check #a random boy to run errands? ok yeah sure #do we need a butler? surely not #there's a huntsman and a groundskeeper/gardener and their assorted assistants #the drakery manager #someone to work with the livestock #can one of those drive a carriage? does she even have a carriage?#THERE ARE TOO MANY PEOPLE #what about her other properties? do they all have staff who sit around doing nothing at all on the off chance that she might drop by?#she's got two country houses (one has a tenant) and a house in town #I DON'T KNOW HOW RICH PEOPLE WORK WHY DO I KEEP WRITING THEM #(because it's easier)#(they are not tied down by such frivolities as 'lack of funds')#I DO know she has an estate manager lol #he's vaguely relevant later on #oh yeah and who knows how many rangers #honestly with them around we probably don't need the forestry people or the hunters #Give Her My Love

Spent an hour at the library and I have a draft of the next Zenith chapter, plus a loose outline of the next two plot points. The crew keeps shifting on me (you may notice that almost none of them match their original introductions) and I'm trying to decide how I want to play the next couple of intros.

First I'll need some heavy editing on this next part. Mel's being Mel and I don't know if his introduction really works.
