I’m doing a thing where I write 1.5k words every day, and I was stuck on my original work, so I wrote some jily if you can believe it. It’s not polished or perfect, but I’ve been absent on here for a while, so I feel the need to give you all something.

Lily Evans’ cat hated her.

That was the only possible explanation for why he had decided to sit directly in front of her and start licking himself while she was sitting on the toilet, in the middle of a crisis.

“Shoo,” She said, swotting at the cat and then nudging him with her foot so that he would run toward the door. But he didn’t. He just looked at her foot, and then up at her with big brown eyes and went back to licking himself, but now while making eye contact. Lily made a face but then let him go about his business.

Lily was aware that she didn’t actually give a shit what the cat was doing just then, it was just far easier to focus on the cat than on the little white stick that she had just peed on.

She never felt so attracted to him before.

12. Favourite character to write this year.

I already said Ginny in another post, but I'll say it again. I will never get sick of writing her. But maybe Ron is a close second too. I always LOVE writing him.

I think my favourite was them in The Red Fury. Pirate-rebel Ginny is just my spirit animal and Auror Ron gets his moments in the sun.

28. Longest fic I read this year.

I definitely think it was Love, I Like a Challenge by you. I know it's older, but I hadn't read it before this year. It made me respect you so much for writing something that long.

Apart from that, there were a few. Betwitched by @starlingflight, plus Made To Be Broken is probably going to be pretty long before it ends, I Know The End by @pheobesaphirra0330, and Whelve by @seriouslysam8. I might be missing something. If I am, sorry.
