#782.5 - Jangmo-o live in groups with others of their kind in harsh, mountainous areas that are far from other Pokemon or people; they grow little by little as they battle one another. While Jangmo-o trains diligently and remains humble, it has the pride of a warrior. It employs the scale on its forehead for both attack and defense, so it never shows its back to its foe. By smacking the scales on their head, they can produce different metallic sounds that can function as both a ward to opponents and a form of communication. After many battles, once they have matured into Hakamo-o, they will leave their fellow Pokemon to begin training on their own.

#783.5 - Having left their group, Hakamo-o seek out opponents to fight. When they find a worthy adversary, they will dance and clang their scales together in a show of strength. Their sturdy scales serve as protective armor, allow them to overwhelm opponents with attacks without worrying about their own defense. This battle style causes many of their scales to be torn off or broken; however, Hakamo-o consider their broken armor and bare arms as proof of a well-fought battle and wear them with pride. Any scales Hakamo-o loses in battle will regrow harder and sharper. As they age, these Pokemon become so fearsome that just the sound of their clanging scales is enough to send weak opponents fleeing in panic.

(Makmo-o [Mak · mō-ō] and Kahumo-o [kə · ho͞o · mō-ō] are derived from “Mākaukau” and “Kahu,” meaning ‘trainee’ and ‘guardian’ in Hawaiian, and maintain the “mo-o” suffix.)

Small Eridian equivalent of a sigh. “No. Not needed for life. In fact Grace will die if he falls in water and does not get out.”

“Grace want this liquid for celebration.”

“Of course.” They scan it. “You have wrong liquid. This contain compounds which are poisonous for humans.”

“Yes yes yes. Grace say humans like feeling of being slightly poisoned.”

Until Grace slips out a sentence along the lines of "could you give me a little grace here" and Rocky immediately points out he used a word wrong so Grace has to explain that yeah, grace means elegance but it can also mean mercy sometimes too.
