Heads up -
This blog is moving tonight. I will make a post with the URL. I will leave this blog up as an archive until I have transferred all content I deem important.
I am sorry to say that the new blog will NOT be offering personalized analyses. I have simply overextended myself and I am trying to overcome my tendency to do this. I’m tired of stressing over something that is ultimately not part of any of my major life goals, and I’m taking care of my needs. You may ask questions about your type if you’re undecided, but there will be no questionnaire. I can only hope that you will understand, but there’s nothing I can do if you don’t.
I will try to get some analyses done today but I can’t make any promises.
Time For An Opinion: About 80% of ENFPs need to stop with their manic-pixie rhetoric.
And what exactly is this “manic pixie rhetoric” of which you speak? Because you know ENFPs are very open to feedback
LOL, not those I’ve met.
“Oh, you’re depressed? That’s your fault and if your symptoms are affecting you, it’s also your fault! The people who’ve abused you are your TEACHERS! THANK them! Become a contortionist, it fixes everything! Oh, you don’t have feelings for this person who likes you? Well, that’s not fair to them! Just let go of your hangups and BECOME in love with them! Sprout wings and fly! Re-wire your brain in your sleep! Shove a crystal up your ass! Cure your autism by eating MDMA like Smarties!”

My answers to you questionnaire
Section 1: Inclinations and Skills
Briefly describe your ideal social gathering. Include details such as approximate length of time, number of people, location, activity, etc.
My ideal social gathering is with one person (max. 2) for abou three or four hours at my place, talking about common interests or watching something (movie, tv show, YouTube videos).
What sort of tasks do you feel you are naturally adept at?
I’m good at learning languages (especially English, it’s not my first language), I can debate pretty well if the other person is using logic and remains calm instead of just screaming that I’m wrong without explaining their reasons and I’m quite good in creative writing, especially if the story I write covers themes and genres such as fantasy and sci-fi(ish), sacrifices, tragic friendship, bravery and fighting one’s personal demons.
How do you feel about interacting with others, before, during, and after?
I am shy, so I’m not really happy to talk to stangers. During the conversation I’ll be quiet and kind of cold/aloof, and after I’ll be neutral,
Describe your general mode of expression when dealing with others. You may include some details regarding what you talk about, but primarily describe how you do so. Describe your general pattern of thought processes. You may include some details regarding what you think about, but primarily describe how you do so. What sort of tasks have you repeatedly failed at?
I believe that being honest and frank is the best thing to do in most occasions, so I’m generally pretty direct with people. I mean, if there’s a problem to solve, people have to know all the details of it, even if they hurt, to actually erase it. Now, if I have to start a conversation with a stranger, I’ll try to find out their interests, if I’m talking to a person I know, I’ll talk about things we can both enjoy having a conversation about. I often try to finish the other person’s sentences if they are talking particularly slowly, because I have a fast pace for pretty much everything.
Section 2: Motivations and Fears
Describe your personal worst case scenario - what would you absolutely hate to have happen to you? Where and how would you most hate to end up?
My worst case scenario is being murdered. I know, it’s dark and kind of unrealistic, but if I have to think about the worst thing that could happen to me is being subdued and harmed permanently. But yes, being unable to do anything to solve a problem (or a beloved’s problem) and/or not being able to resist to something bad, having no other choice of being passive, these are the worst case scenarios.
Briefly describe a negative experience you believe to have had an impact on you.Â
I was bullied at a really young age, I was 7 and it continued until I was 10. Everybody had their hands tied, so I just had to bear it. This made me less open to other people (maybe it would have happened anyway, though). So that is for sure the worst thing that happened to me.
What are the main things you avoid in everyday life?
I try to avoid social interactions, sticking to the ones I have to make. If I can, I will make sure that people don’t see me whilst I’m doing something I’m not good at, and I’ll avoid having emotional breakdowns (that, luckily, seldom happen) to not appear weak and whiny.
What are the main things you seek out in everyday life?
I’d say being able to make decisions, especially for myself, and having some time to relax and breathe. Having said that, I always try to work hard and do my best.
What do you wish to accomplish with your life?
I want to have a good and steady job, mostly to take care of myself individually (and if I’ll be able to spoil myself a little, then I will). I also want to learn a lot of things.
Section 3: Image and Expression
How do you see yourself?
I see myself as logical (not the way that disrespectful and aggressive people describe themselves as logic. Like, actually using my brain before I make a decision), down-to-earth, pragmatic and direct. Unfortunately, I am not that adaptable, but I do welcome change if I’m 100% sure it’s convenient.
How have you most frequently been described?
My friends often said I’m intimidating, especially when highly annoyed, and that they’d be scared to have me against them. I’ve always been described as smart and more mature than my peers, even when I was a toddler. My teachers often described me as an influential individual that helps the class and as a natural leader.
How would you prefer others see you?
I would like others to see me as fair, intelligent and reliable.
Briefly describe your overall fashion choices and outward demeanor.
I don’t follow trends, but I also don’t dress to make other people pay attention to me. I generally go for a “nerdy” look: overalls or cardigans, flanels and jeans. Sometimes I go for an “edgier” look, like a leather jacket with combat boots (I actually wear combat boots a lot) and a black shirt underneath. The colors I use the most are blacks, greys and whites. I always try to dress properly and make sure I look clean and orderly. When I’m talking to someone, I either look around or look the other person in the eyes, sometimes shifting between those things. I usually sit with a leg over the other and with my back kind of leaned back, and I keep my arms crossed often.
Section 4: Attitudes
How do you react to stress?
When I’m stressed, I need a whole lot of alone time, to reflect and pick the best decision. I dislike when people try to empathize with me, especially with fisical contact. I need to be alone. I can attack people easily when I’m under stress, becoming easier to offend, even if I try to keep my cool.
How do you react to authority?
(Talking about a person who takes the lead in social situations, or even one of the class’s presidents) If the authority is fair and shares my opinions, then I’ll let them be. If the person is partial, mean just because they find it funny, stupid and/or incompetent in any way, I’ll take their place. If the person is trying to be fair and still shares my opinions and values, but is overly emotional, I’ll be a good second in command, helping them being realistic and making difficult decisions.
How do you react to emotions or irrationality?
I dislike people that whine often. However, if a friend of mine wants to vent to someone about their feelings to relieve themselves, I’ll be their “emotions trashcan”, and I’ll do my best to help them, even though I’m not good with emotions. I hate irrationality, because it is never useful.
How do you react to cruelty or rudeness?
If I can do something to stop it (and if the victim is completely right), I will. I get very protective towards my friends and family members, and I’ll defend them if attacked.
How do you react to novelty or change?
Again, I’m not very adaptable, but if I’m completely sure that it’s gonna be convenient, then I’ll accept change. I’m very curious, so that helps.
How do you react to routine or tradition?
I have a daily routine, and I personally prefer having one than living by the day. I’m not particularly attached to traditions, only to the ones I like.
Describe your decision making process.
Which is the most logical decision?
Can I take it, or is it unrealistic?
Is it convenient for everyone? If not, is there any other decision as logical as this one?
If there’s not another logical decision, I’ll take the one that I consider right (aka the original one), but I usually look for win and win situations.
My assessment of you is that you are an ISTJ 5w6 sp/so, 538 tritype.
Your preference for routines and logic which you mention quite frequently in your questionnaire point toward Si-Te. You are certainly a Te user - you value straightforward pragmatism rather than abstract logic. You are reserved without being wishy-washy and put emphasis on properness, orderliness, and friends/family - very ISTJ.
You definitely enjoy learning about abstract topics and aren’t afraid of the unusual - enough that you may mistype as iNtuitive. This comes from being a 5w6. Your strong preference for routine still ping as Si-dom. You have described yourself as influential, and also desiring stability - this has me assessing your instinctual variant as sp/so. You strike me as a go-getter, which accounts for both the 3 and the 8 elements in your trifix. The trifix 538 is characterized by a strategic approach to life. You desire influence (which you would likely exercise fairly) but also want to be as well-informed and competent as possible.

Enneagram Types as Lana del Rey Songs
Type 1: Old Money
Type 2: Shades of Cool
Type 3: National Anthem
Type 4: Brooklyn Baby
Type 5: Ride
Type 6: Gods and Monsters
Type 7: Off To The Races
Type 8: Cruel World
Type 9: Bel Air
Tritype Profiles: The Seeker
Shared Trait: Triple Self-doubting
Fixes: 4, 6, 9 (in any order)
General Profile: This is one of the most vulnerable and soft-mannered tritypes. Â They often struggle with issues of identity and where they fit in. They are highly sensitive to the reactions and behavior of others which may make them difficult to get close to, but usually also makes them highly considerate of where others are coming from. They can have difficulty standing up for themselves without dramatic or passive aggressive behavior, though they are quick to support others in a gentle and loving way when those others are mistreated. They tend to have a whimsical and innocent air about them which belies a deep gravity inside of them - the weight of the never-ending search for truth. Many of these individuals have difficulty expressing themselves in a direct or pragmatic way, preferring to use imagery and abstract concepts. This tritype is over-represented among poets.
If Core 4: The most friendly 4. Due to the double Attachment fixations, they lack the aloofness of many 4s. They are still reserved, but are more responsive to others’ needs and less lost in their heads. They have more of a desire to share their inner life and to have it validated. They are still moody, but they have more of a sense of humor about themselves and their lives. Their creative work, while raw, is also welcoming. Likeliest instinctual variant: so/sp
If Core 6: The most reserved 6. Their quirky behavior may mask their conscientiousness, but not their anxiety. They can be described as “squirrely.” They seek belonging as much as any other 6, but it may be in more unusual spaces and among more reserved people - groups of “misfits”, as it were. They may dismay that they desire more solidarity than their compatriots. Their convictions can be easily disrupted by disapproval from outside sources, triggering a moral crisis. They openly seek protection from such instances by aligning with like-minded, like-experienced groups.  Likeliest instinctual variant: sp/so
If Core 9: The most emotional 9. They are less outwardly calm, but nonetheless make their desire for a secure and harmonious environment known. They often experience or express a disconnect between the self and the emotions, portraying them in more indirect ways - it is catharsis rather than the expression of something stable. Like Type 4, they use their imaginative faculties to form and maintain a sense of self. Like many 9s, they are spiritual, but they may find spiritual inspiration in unconventional and unexpected venues such as literature. Â Likeliest instinctual variant: so/sx
Likely MBTI: INFP, ISFP, ISFJ, INFJ, INTP
Could you compare a 5w6 ISTP to a 9w8 ISTP?
ISTP 5w6: This is the most common Enneagram for the ISTP. Expert troubleshooter, vastly knowledgeable about a variety of factual topics, but also with a sarcastic, unpretentious, “homeboy” streak a mile wide. Takes risks and precautions equally. Intense and alert.Â
ISTP 9w8: Also a common Enneagram for ISTP. This ISTP is more laid-back, but still enthusiastic about their areas of focus. They may be more of a risk-taker, and may not understand when others voice concern about their daredevil behavior. They are somewhat more in tune with their intuitive side, so they may have a more artistic streak. They may be less in need of direct action and may be more content to read/watch action and adventure series. ISTP 9w8 is probably highly represented in the gaming community.

hello!!! can you help me with the difference between isfp 9w1 and infp 9w1?
ISFP 9w1: Embodies your “flower child” ISFP stereotype more often than not. Loves to take a leisurely stroll while listening to their favorite music. Very idealistic for a Sensing type, particularly an SP, so expect a strong tertiary Ni - more aptitude for foresight than your average Se-ego type.Â
INFP 9w1: Perfect Cinnamon Roll, Too Good For This World, Too Pure
Very high standards for self, more relaxed with others (generally). Tends to be deeply spiritual, often in a way they have self-defined. They may use this as a form of escapism, but their 1 wing usually drives them to take some action, even if it is in the form of carefully-worded arguments for their cause - the arts may play a role.
Trying to type a new friend who has strongest access to their Te & Ni. What questions or observations can I do to tell which function comes higher in their stack? If it helps, they're undergoing several life transitions right now (e.g. new job, sale of childhood home, grad school aspirations, parents' divorce) which makes it trickier to tell which one's their "natural" state.
What seems more important to them? Facts (Te), or patterns/plans (Ni)?
