2. this is the first page of my soon to be several page study guide for my human a&p exam i take after thanksgiving. i’m majoring in occupational therapy assisting (if anyone was wondering haha). chapter 11 is very complex and is challenging me in ways i’m going to have to get used to if i want to survive this semester. obviously having family around for the holidays will be difficult if i also need to focus on this exam. i will never understand why professors plan things the way they do. here’s hoping for easier professors to come!

Since I am so busy during the week it’s nice to be able to spend time at home during the weekend. J works every single day at the moment so I am alone. But I did it! And I did it better than I even expected! I didn’t get into just any program, but an internationally ranking program and its just so surreal for me. That all of that work did eventually pay off. In the midst of all the pain and feeling of inadequacy, that was always so difficult to keep in sight. But it is so important in moving forward, on to something better for you. 

there are a million ways to be happy and a million ways to be a successful artist. we create what we do to enhance the human experience and relate to each other and improve ourselves. theres something to be said for just doing that,,,for the sake of doing it, yknow

16.04.19 // back home for the Easter holidays! I did no work for the first week and now I’m trying to get through my analytical review, which is due as soon as I get back 🙄 I also want to finish my notes from last term, so we’ll see how that goes… 📝

Having a look at biology and chemistry programs is overwhelming and scary BUT nothing is impossible and I truly deeply want this so I’ll manage, somehow, I hope!

30.1.2019 // On the Train from Berlin to Göttingen. I’m going to attend the Poetikvorlesungen ( Poetic Lectures) of the German poet and author Monika Rinck. I’m writing my Master thesis on her poetry and essay work and she’s going to speak about “Lyric between Fiction and Non-Fiction”.
