28.04.2026, Tuesday. Spring is progressing nicely - along with my mood. The semester started pleasantly enough, but I can already feel the stress catch up. I'll be doing a lot of reading this semester, including Gogol's Dead Souls and Austen's Emma. However, I'm also trying to prioritise movement and social interactions this season. As long as the sun is out, I'll be fine.

i’ve been getting very inspired by @imanbenerrabeh and tried to make this trip to spain and france a little different for me. from my first attempts at a journaling ecosystem to selecting books from bordeaux and madrid as postcards, it’s been fun to venture out of my comfort zone and see the cities through a different perspective. thank you iman 🤍

but it feels harder everyday.

23.04.2026—been sleeping quite weirdly this week, but have managed to be very productive and make lots of progress on my current draft

writing is difficult and lonely work. my draft is a mess, but i am not going to think about that >.<

Did I fail the last exam? Yes. Am I bothered by it? ...not really lmao. Although I guess I was cause I haven't posted anything since then, but eh. I can give a retest anyways, I should definitely pass then. My friends and I went to Ulm and god the walk up to the top of this cathedral killed my thighs.

08.04.26 — after five hours of study, i finally finished up a chapter in chemistry and started working on my biology research project. i’m planning on going to the library tomorrow to catch up with maths and french :)

I praised the sun for two days and its suddenly sweltering in the office. My graph finally converged but it ate up a peak and I am about to give up and ask for help. If I don't get this done by tonight, the poor PhD student who I'm assisting is going to get a barrage of messages while he's on vacation lmao.

One of my April goals is to catch up with my pals before I move, and today I did exactly that with one of my dearest friends 🥹 We had some sweet treats during my work break, and it completely refreshed my soul. Since my schedule is packed with work-studies-volunteering I’m lucky to have such an understanding and empathetic friend. We don’t get to see each other often, but when we do it’s like no time has passed! I count this as a productive day 😌💕
