I need a fic with protective and JEALOUSY brothers, I need a fanfic where Tim is dating Kon and his brothers just can't handle it.
Dick enters Tim's room to find Superboy posters and Tim wearing a sweater with the Superboy symbol on it and Dick just can't take it anymore, since when did his little brother stop having Nightwing posters in his room? when did he stop wearing Nightwing sweaters?!
Damian tells Bruce he wants to visit a zoo and Bruce with his billionaire CEO and Justice League member agenda just can't, Bruce suggests that Tim accompany Damian and before he can say anything Tim speaks quickly to say that he has a date with Kon and cannot accompany Damian, Damian clearly didn't want Drake to accompany him and was going to say no but why was Drake saying no?!
Damian: I was gonna say no, but why are you saying no?!!!?!!?!?!?
Duke and Steph wanting Tim to accompany them to the BatBurger to find out the surprise that Tim would be staying all week at the Kent's farm.
Jason wants the little replacement to help him hack Barbara because she has a video of him falling into his own ass and wants him to help her delete it. Just when he reaches Tim's room he realizes that he is very comfortable in the arms of the Kryptonian clone, Jason does not hesitate to take out all the Kryptonite he has and threaten the poor boy.
I JUST NEED A FANFIC THAT IS LIKE THIS PLEASE RECOMMENDATIONS!!!
BTW ENGLISH IS NOT MY NATIVE LANGUAGE THIS WAS WRITTEN WITH THE TRANSLATOR AND WITH THE LITTLE KNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE OF ENGLISH
Danny may be a Ghost Baby who feels like an Anicent, but his friends don't.
SO, we all know the Ghost Baby Headcanon by now right? The idea that Danny is literally a Toddler by Ghost Standards, but because of how powerful he is everybody else believes that he is an Ancient or a God who is hogging the Mortal World to himself.
But what about his friends?
They were right there when the Portal opened. No Hazmat Suits, no Cover, no Protection from the Dimension of Pure Energy that had just been opened right in front of them.
That has to have some kind of Side Effects!
And actually, we do know of a Character who was just standing in front of a Portal when it opened and still got affected by it. Vlad.
While Danny was turned into a Halfa instantly, his friends would be more similar to Vlad in that they are slow to transform.
It takes weeks, but eventually they become mini-halfas themselves. Except they didn't have an entire Dimension of energy pushed into them upon fully forming, so their Ecto-Signatures actually feel like the babies they are supposed to be.
So imagine this from the Ghosts perspective.
They meet this guy called Phantom, a Halfa who is Extremely Powerful, but nobody has seen him in centuries. He was known as a very powerful Protector Spirit for millennia, randomly showing up across history, but always helping others. And then he just vanished one day, not seen again for centuries.
Until recently, when he showed in the Mortal World, stopping any other Ghost from fulfilling their Obsessions with Humans. And by his side are 2 smaller Halfa's that feel like they must have barely formed. You can see where this is going.
They think Sam and Tucker are Danny's children.
It makes sense! A Powerful Ancient, known for protecting people, suddenly disappears for centuries and then shows up again with 2 baby Halfa's in tow? That sounds like a Protector Spirit who lost his will to fight, decided to settled down in the Mortal Realm, and then found out that 2 baby Halfa's were formed when a Portal was opened!
He isn't selfishly holding the Mortal Realm to himself! He's protecting the Fledgling Haunt of his 2 Babies! They must still have living Family, that's why he is so adamant that they don't hurt the Civilains in their battles!
Now they just feel like assholes for attacking the Baby's dad when he was just trying to protect their stuff.
Danny finds this both extremely infuriating, and also agonizingly hilarious.
Pariah Dark is defeated, due to his own stupidity he has to admit. Everyone knows not to mess with the nest of a protector spirit, much less an ancient one. He canât believe he didnât lose his title because somebody had trained for eons to defeat him in single combat and rightfully usurp him but because he canât read a damn haunt.
Danny would have SO much fun doting on his 'babies' any time there was ano there ghost around. And Tucker or Sam? Just have to deal with it. Like... They have no way to escape this without putting the fact that actually Danny is also a baby. Just a time travelling one. They would be so tempted though at time.
Jason: Take it home. I do it all the time. They have plenty, trust me.
Bruce, entering: Plenty of what?
Jason: Plenty of fish sticks in the cafeteria. He was asking if they're out.
Bruce: If they're all out, I'll tell you they're all out, alright?
Bruce: *leaves*
Duke: Jason, I'm not gonna steal from the company.
Jason: If you came over to my safehouse, you'd see my whole setup is Wayne Enterprises stuff. The electronics, the furniture, the salt and pepper shakers.
Duke: Are you serious?
Jason: Steph, do you ever take stuff home from here?
Stephanie: I take the gala champagne glasses home. Give 'em away as gifts. It's a perk.
Jason: It's like a monthly bonus.
Duke: It's stealing! Tim wouldn't do it.
Tim: Do what?
Duke: Take Wayne Enterprises stuff home.
Tim: No, but I do keep a bunch of clean coffee mugs in the trunk of my car and I bring them in every day for Bruce to check and then I put them back so I don't have to wash the dishes in the break room.

Danny is a homeless kid in Gotham. He lives in Red Hoods' territory. His nickname is Numbers. A couple of kids learned he was good with numbers and quizzed him, and he got them all correct, hence Numbers. Danny loves living in Gotham, well as much as a 15-year-old homeless kid whose parents hate his existence can.
Danny is one of the kids who, when they find out info about people going against Red Hoods' rules, will report them to him. Tonight is one of those nights. Danny had learned someone sold drugs to a kid in the Alley. Danny made sure to retrieve the drugs from the kid, Stiches, and made sure the kids' friend, Patches, looked after him. cause even if Stitches wasn't able to take the drugs before Danny stepped in, the psychological damage of almost relapsing is tough, especially for a kid that couldn't be older than 12.
So Danny is on the lookout for Hood when he sees a group of people on top of a building, one of them being Batman. Danny knows that while not published Hood is connected to the Bat.
Danny scales the building and sees that its the Justice League and Batman.
Danny turns to the JL
Danny: do you have permission to be in Gotham?
Without giving them time to answer he turns to Batman
Danny: Did you give them permission? Or do you need help getting the Just Losers outta here?
Green Lantern (Hal): wha? huh, Kid?
Batman cracks a barely there smile, unnoticed by everyone, at the JL being called Just Losers.
Batman: they are allowed. Now kid what do you need?
Danny: I have info for Hood and I know you bats are all connected.
Batman gets Hood on coms.
Hood: *in Bruce's ear, but still heard by Danny* what do you want old man I'm busy.
Batman: hn a kid is here asking for you.
Danny: tell him it's Numbers
Hood: oh shit what's he got for me this time.
Danny: *tells Bats the situation* should I give the drugs to Batman?
JL in the background horrified to learn so much about Gothams' underground. (like this shit doesn't occur in their cities too)
Batman: yes I will make sure they get back to Hood so he can test and deal with them.
Danny: Cool cool
Danny does a drug deal with Batman.
Danny: so why are the Just Losers here?
Danny dislikes the JL, they never helped Amity. Dannys has gotten better with the bats thanks to Hood.
Danny: is it for the outsider setting up shop in the warehouse by the docks? With the sketchy af alien tech?

Hi kids, it's your favorite storytelling chicken, and my Furnace has decided to die.
It also decided to take the A/C unit out with it.
This is both very expensive to fix, and also kind of urgent: the more observant of you may have noticed that it is November, and getting onto winter here in the Rockies.
Look at this little man, huddling on my feet for warmth.
I have *some* emergency funds, but not enough to cover even a temporary fix, and that's also the fund that vet, medical, and car repair bills come out of, all of which I've had too much of this year.
I'm currently pitting four HVAC companies against each other to get the best offer possible, and getting the paperwork done for state subsidies, refunds and other discounts, but I still need your help.
Become a supporter of Gallus Rostromegalus today! â¤ď¸ Ko-fi lets you support the creators you love.
I am once again floored by the generosity of this community and grateful for every single one of you. We've raised $4,132 since last night.
Not Good news:
After all the subsidies, refunds, discounts and the companies competing for this job, it's still going to cost me AT LEAST $15,000 to fix this.
Without going into too many details, the fuckup is so severe that I need to hire a lawyer, which I also do not have money for.
C'est la vie, but I am so, so grateful I have this community to fall back on. Thank you for everything you have done so far, and thank you for helping me.
1. Installed a furnace that's about half again too powerful for the house.
2. An AC unit that is only half as powerful as it needs to be
3. The AC's condensation pipe EXACTLY where it would drip into the furnace and rust the motor and heating elements.
4. His own duct work (derogatory)
So what's been happening is the AC and Furnace have been slowly killing each other and also took a good portion of the duct work and the electrical panel with them. Which is four major devices that all play together so I can't replace *just* the furnace.
Now, while these are major sins of homeownership, they are not prosecutable offenses. The Home Inspector our realtor hired before buying this HOWEVER:
1. Somehow failed to notice this impending clusterfuck
2. Reported that the furnace and AC were the correct size and only four years old, instead of completely the wrong sizes and actually 12 years old.
3. Also failed to make any kind of note about last year's sewer fiasco.
So we're taking them and the realtor to court because they are DANGEROUSLY INCOMPETENT and I feel like I am owed for this. But I will not have that money in time to keep my house warm this winter.
We are all safe. For all its other faults, the house is at least well-insulated and if it gets unacceptably cold, we will decamp to my in-laws ten minutes from here.
Once again, I am floored by your generosity and thank you all for everything you have done.
I'm sorry to be posting this as often as I am, but I basically need to make a decision by Friday in order to get this repaired in a timely fashion.
As badly as the furnace situation was done, the house is extremely well insulated and we have space heaters and my in-laws live ten minutes from here if it gets really cold, but a little man insisted on sleeping under the covers with me last night:
Mochi might also just be sad and needy because he also had a vet appointment yesterday on top of all this (recovering from a UTI), but I did appreciate him being my teddy bear.
Until 4AM when he started petting my face with his little goblin hands, then he became my husband's cuddle kitty.
The dogs think this is hilarious and that all the repairman are here to see them personally.

Tim meeting Lex at a gala when heâs young. and becoming gossip besties with him
i finally wrote it after it infesting my brain enjoy
ââââââ-
Tim thought the gala was going to be like most of the others, boring, annoying, nothing happening. And then he saw Lex Luthor. And he's a smart man, probably the only other smart person in here so why not start a conversation?
Lex thought this gala was going to be boring and a waste of time. And then this small child comes up to him talking about gossip that he didn't even know? And mentioning his incredibly secret cloning project he just started a week ago? He's going to be a villain and Lex wants to be on his good side.
ââââââââ
Tim sighed, annoyed. Gala's have always been incredibly boring, the only slightly fun things that happen at them have been either Bruce Wayne "tripping" over something and drenching someone else with whatever drink or liquid is near, or overhearing gossip, such as Robert Dewitt cheating on his wife with his brother. That was a fun day.
This gala is looking to be about the same as always, just even more boring. Bruce Wayne isn't attending (understandable, The Joker just broke out of Arkham again. He's sure there's a cover story for why Bruce isn't here but he doesn't care about that), no one is drawing attention to any scandals yet, or at least not in his ear range.
The only vaguely interesting thing here is Lex Luthor actually attending it for once. The man usually never spares a moment for anything aside from Metropolis (disgusting) and Superman. So there's at least one other smart person here but he also happens to be a super-villain (not that the general public knows) so⌠Not like Tim can just walk up to him and talk right?
"So as I was saying it really is quite unfortunate that your son won't take the company, I always thought he was a rather charming young man-" Fuck it Tim's gonna go talk to the super-villain.
"Have you heard about Rebecca Strawling?" Tim asks Lex, who absolutely did NOT jump at this child sneaking up behind him (seriously how did he do that? Even Superman, a man who constantly floats, can't sneak up on him.). Lex blinks for a second because, yes he had and holy shit what a thing that is, and also how does this child know? Also why is this child talking to him?
"That⌠Depends. What have you heard?" Lex says hesitantly. Despite Rebecca's⌠everything, she still hid it incredibly well. If Lex wasn't so bored at these gala's he would never have known, so either this child is just incredibly nosy, or possibly an actual smart person in this room. Either option would prove far more interesting than what he had been doing.
"Well I've heard about the several affairs she's had with everyone she claims to hate. Business rivals, the poor, queer people, her husband's family, and if it's to be believed her own family." And⌠Holy fuck, Lex had not been aware of that last bit. He raises an eyebrow at the ending which prompts a slight grin from the child as he takes his phone out. "I have evidence."
Does Lex actually⌠Enjoy being near a kid barely in the double digits? Absurd.
"You know Tim, that man over there? He's almost bankrupting his company and family by sending their money to a 'client.' I believe all his business partners are looking for someone to replace his spot." It's been an hour and a half. This is the most entertained Lex has been at one of these in decades. If Tim finds himself following the black hair, blue eyes orphan trend Lex will take him in himself so help him God. He's insanely smart, not only is he excellent at reading people and finding dirt on them easily, he's incredibly skilled at hacking without any proper training on it. This is a villain in the making and Lex will not let himself fall on his bad side.
"Now, I have a moral question for you Tim. What do you think the ethics on making a weapon out of a clone would be?" He's been toying with the idea of cloning Superman lately, however the actual⌠Making it a weapon has been bothering him. If it comes out an adult man it could easily decide it wants to do something else and rebel, however what would the effects be on making a child weapon that was created for that sole purpose? The effectiveness of it?
"Easy. Don't make the clone a weapon. It's either an adult clone who could choose to be a soldier, and actually listen to you, or decide it won't listen and possibly end up exposing you. If it's a child clone then sure you get a weapon for a few years but not having a choice would end up making them resent you. Give them a choice on it, just like the Sidekicks, like Robin, Kid Flash, Speedy, all them. I'd assume you would want a meta clone anyway and most meta's feel a sense of duty with their abilities so it'd be likely for them to decide something along what you want. Just a matter on if they like you and go with you, or turn to the other side." Tim answers without missing a beat and wow what a concerning sentence that would be to hear from a child if he were anyone else. As it is he's delighted by the response.
"Although cloning a Kryptonian would probably alter it, simply wouldn't get enough material so you would likely have to substitute some of the material for human and at that point use your own and raise the clone as a child." What. That's far too specific. "Oh, sorry I probably should've kept it more broad. Anyway you should update your security systems." Definitely a super-villain in the making. One that he very much wants to be on the good side of. On that note now he needs to update his whole system.
"Ah, Tim I'm glad you picked up. I'm a father now! I'd like you to meet my son, his name is Kon-El-"
"Oh, I've already met him. You actually interrupted our call. Kinda late on telling me." Of course.
"You know I could adopt you as well, get you from that bumbling buffoon that is Wayne."
"Yeah but then my crush would become incestuous." His what? Know what he can work with this. Tim is joining his family one way or another.
Finally. A moment of peace for Lex to sit down, drink some coffee, and watch a rerun of his favorite show. "Luthor!" Oh great, the boy scout here to ruin his plans. Oh and is that his group for comic-con? There's the man of steel himself, Wonder Woman, Batman and⌠Wait. Oh this will piss Kal-El off to be ignored.
"Timothy! I was just about to call you. You remember Robert Dewitt, correct? You'll never guess what he's done now." Lex grins, standing up. He was meaning to update Tim on this particular⌠Creature. He's one of their favorites to catch up on, purely because of the absurdity of his debauchery. Although this time does have a reason, after all there's reason for dear old Robert to get locked up this time and he's been making some comments about Lex lately and well he can't just let that slide now can he?
Tim blinks for a second then realizes what Lex just said. "Wait you know? Of course you do why wouldn't you.. Actually wait that doesn't matter what the fuck did Robert do? Last I knew he wasn't allowed outside without an escort so I was expecting longer." Lex has a feeling it does in fact matter very much if the way Batman's eyes narrow and his jaw clench indicate anything. Lex needs to continue on or possibly get put in a hospital.
"Oh he's no longer allowed near animal shelters, so-" Kal-El cuts him off, incredibly rudely if he might add.
"What⌠What is going on here?" Poor man sounds so confused. Lex is savoring this moment.
"Well I know Timothy Drake is Red Robin. Clearly. Red Robin is the hero closest to becoming a villain which fits Tim quite well, and also Tim is the only Gothamite smart enough to be Red Robin. And infuriating enough to personally annoy Ra's al-Ghul on a regular." It's very simple honestly. Lex has no idea what's making this so complicated. "If it helps make you all feel 'safe' and 'secure' I could tell you about the time Timothy told me he had a crush on Kon-" And now Tim's thrown something at him. What is this, interrupt Lex day?
"Shut up! What if I told them about you and Clark Kent?" Ahh, expose his crush, get his own crush exposed. Well unfortunately Lex has no shame about that.
"You mean the man who could lift a 200 lb person with no effort? One of the very few good reporters?" Odd that Kal-El's face is getting red and confused but oh well. "Honestly though, who cares. You know Tim my offer for adopting you still stands. I know it must be absurdly easy to hide being Red Robin from your⌠family. However I think I could be of more assistance still." Batman's hands are clenching now. Interesting. "I mean you made a fake uncle to get out of being adopted by the oaf, I don't know why you didn't just let me." Ah, Batman's hands are unclenched. He must have thought that uncle was also real. Surprising, really, from 'The World's Greatest Detective' however they clearly have the wrong bat. "And does he even know about your missing spleen? Really, I should get him locked up for child neglect. Even I would notice if anything happened to Kon-El."
Tim's eyes widen at that and snap to Batman's equally wide eyes. They both jump into a sprint, Tim leaping out of a window with the Bat close behind. "Oh, did he not know? Oops."
Perfect. Hopefully that'll have been absurd enough that the Justice League leave him alone, and he can watch his show in peace.
After Bruce Wayne dies, it only takes Tim about three weeks to show up on Dick Graysonâs doorstep with a 3-ring binder full of evidence. He runs a finger along the top metal ring of the binder over and over as he waits for a response to the doorbell. All at once he feels thirteen years old again, clutching months of painstakingly collected notes written up neatly and sorted into sections. Dick never read any of it, yet Tim did it all again. Had his photos developed for ease of viewing access, included sources for all of his claims, stuck to his main points for clarityâs sake but has pages and pages of extra information in the back of the binder for whenâifâDick decides to give his idea a thorough look.Â
But Tim is seventeen years old now, old enough to know where he went wrong the first time. Yesterday he spent hours coming up with argument after argument, approach after approach, to get through to Dick. Mr. Grayson, Iâm so sorry for your loss. Heâs probably tired of hearing that. Mr. Grayson, I have something I think youâll want to see. Too quick to the point. If he doesnât recognize Tim, maybe heâll try Mr. Grayson, I know about your night life and I want to help. If he does, then maybe Mr. Grayson, I want to say Iâm sorry about last time, but this isnât like last time, I swearâ
The door opens. Tim knows that itâs Dick by the smell. Sweat, unwashed clothes, and misery. How like last time. Dick looks like the epitome of grief, which is to say, not like himself. Dick Grayson is a creature of happiness by nature, of high-flying freedom, of beloved family and friends, a picture-perfect cover boy, always adored, always with a beautiful redhead, Batgirl or Starfire or Arsenal, yes Tim knows his type, always kind, always charming, always happy to be there. But Tim only ever seems to know him in these liminal states of horrible tragedy.Â
Worst of all, Tim canât quite tell if Dick recognizes him.Â
âMr. Grayson,â he begins, heart pounding so loudly he cannot hear himself speak, âI donât think Mr. Wayne is dead.â
For a moment longer than Timâs entire lifespan, Dick just stares at him. Blue eyes hazy and unfocused. One hand on the doorframe, one hand dragging through the stubble growing on his half-shaved jaw. Heâs wearing an AC/DC shirt. Given Dickâs fashion tastes (bright colors) and Bruce Wayneâs music tastes, neither of which Tim should know, he is 98% certain that the AC/DC shirt used to belong to Bruce Wayne.Â
When Dick finally speaks, his voice sounds like the death of all joy.Â
âHow many family members do I have to lose before you let me grieve in peace?â
Timâs pounding heartbeat becomes a deafening white noise as Dickâs question pangs around his chest. His eyes sting so fiercly that Tim knows it is as visible as Dickâs misery. Nevertheless, he persists, if only for Bruce Wayne. No one else will save him if not for Tim. So even though his hero thinks Tim is a creepy little stalker with the unbelievable audacity to swagger into Dickâs life and tell him how to fix it, well. Heâs not wrong, is he? What does it matter if Tim once upon a time dreamed of more? Saving Bruce Wayne is far more important than Timâs nonexistent chances of becoming friends with Nightwing.Â
âJason came back.â Timâs chin, lifted stubbornly, trembles.Â
Dickâs face clouds over with a rage so terrible that Tim sincerely believes heâs about to get punched by Nightwing. Which wouldnât be so bad. Tim deserves it, doesnât he? Intruding on a strangerâs grief like this is probably a punchable offense. Heâll bear it all if only Dick listens, but it looks like he managed to blow it in the span of two sentences.Â
In the end, though Dickâs hands curl into fists and his shoulders shake like traintracks, he turns his head at the last second and rests his forehead on the doorframe. Tears streak down his perfect jawline. Watching Dick Grayson cry is like watching Atlantis sink. Itâs like watching the Mona Lisa go up in flames. Tim knows stuff like this is why Dick treats him like a celebrity-obsessed stalker living in a weird fantasy world where heâs a part of the Wayne family. He knows itâs why Dick hates him. Tim still canât help that itâs captivating to watch.
âGo away,â Dick begs.
Tim has never felt more like the scum of the earth, yet still heâd persist if he thought there was a chance of getting Nightwing to listen to him. But there isnât. So Tim, as lonely, rejected, unworthy and fucking correct as he is, sees himself out of the apartment building.
Damian Wayne first heard of the kid when Dick Grayson saw him at a gala and complained to Damian about the twerp who showed up at his door and tried to make him be Robin.
Dick hated the kid because he wouldnât let him grieve in peace.
But now, Tim had gone too far. He hadnât just tried to bother Dick about the mission. Heâd tried to claim that Father was still alive.
Damian was determined to hunt the boy down and teach him a lesson.
Imagine Damianâs surprise when he tracks the kid all the way to a cave in the middle of nowhere and finds him staring at the bat symbol on the wall.
As he walks into the cave, he can see the boy silently shaking with sobs. âI was right, but whatâs the point?â Damian can hear him whisper. âThe one person who couldâve done something about it hates me because I keep intruding on his grief. And now I canât even get back; someone stole my damn car and thereâs no cell reception here. What was the point?â
The boy, who been sitting up as he curled into a ball, tilted over and laid down as he sobbed. Damian simply stared at the symbol on the wall. The boy hadnât noticed his presence, and after a while, and sobs gave way to light breathing as the boy had fallen asleep. It broke Damian out of the trance, and he moved towards the boy. Only to find the binder Dick had described the boy holding when heâd first shown up. Damian flipped through it and was in awe.
The boy had been right all along, and if Dick had just looked he couldâve been saved needless grief.
Damian was determined. He tapped his comm. âOracle. How do you feel about taking on a genius new apprentice while I take the information heâs uncovered and use it to save Father?â
âGrayson. I require your presence on the Watchtower. We are saving Father.â
âWhat?â
âHe is alive. The boy was right, the proof he already had was substantial and he has found even more.â
âDamian-â
âI do not want to hear it, Grayson. Father is alive. There is proof. I am bringing the boy back to Gotham to speak with Oracle - she has already approved of this plan - and you are going to help me pull Father out of the time stream. Meet me on the Watchtower.â
He tapped his comm, hanging up the call, then called Jon for a ride home. Despite flying through the air, Tim didnât wake up throughout the entire trip, worn out from the crying. Damian longed to be there when the boy woke up, but he was needed to explain things to Grayson and the rest of the Justice League. Binder still in hand, Damian had Jon bring him to the nearest zeta tube.
âRobin,â Grayson greeted him upon arrival, wearing the full bat suit. âWhat have you uncovered?â
âNot a thing,â Damian said, glaring at his brother. âCredit belongs to a young man who you shunned, prompting this lonely 17 year old with no support system to fly across the entire world in search of even more evidence, despite the fact that his existing proof shouldâve been more than enough for you.â
Damian knew he shouldnât be treating Grayson this way. This was his Batman, his partner in the field, his brother. He should not be calling him out in front of the entire Justice League. But Damian couldnât stop himself. He was far too angry to Grayson for that. How dare he shun this innocent child who was so desperate to help that he stranded himself in the desert for them?
âRobin,â Grayson began softly, as if trying to explain something difficult to a child, âhe came to me less than a week after B had died. And the last time Iâd seen the kid, heâd shown up a few months after your predecessorâs death and insisted that I return to being Robin. As if his death didnât matter; Bâs mental health was the only thing important. Why would I listen to him?â
âBecause he was right!â Damian roared. âIt is the whole reason Mother brought me home sooner than she had planned! Father nearly killed a man in his grief. He needed a Robin to balance him out. I took on that role when I was only 7 years old. You were the adult. Why would you let a 7 year old do it for you, when a 13 year old already gave you ample evidence that you were needed?â
Damian respected his older brother so much that heâd tried to hunt down an innocent kid to berate him for hurting his brother. Instead, this journey had done the opposite. He could feel his respect for Grayson diminishing fast. The man had better watch his next words.
âSo my grief doesnât matter?â Grayson roared back. âMy pain should be ignored for the sake of the mission?â
âNo!â Damian shouted. âBut you still should not have been cruel to a child who was only trying to help! He faced your wrath for you. He came to try to end your grief, end your suffering, end your pain. Instead, he got cruel words and nearly died in the desert! For you!â
Grayson froze, tension lining every inch of his body. âI regret how I treated him, but-â
âNo. No but. Do. Better. Then maybe you will be fit for the mantle of Nightwing, which is supposed to bring hope.â
Grayson looked like heâd been slapped, but Damian didnât care as he pushed past the man to lay Timâs binder on the table. âHere is all the evidence you should need to find him. However, if that is not enough, Tim has discovered a cave in the desert with an incredibly old carving of Batmanâs symbol. I have taken a photograph of it.â
Grayson whispered âTim? Youâre using not only his first name, but a nickname?â Grayson sounded hurt and confused.
âHe has more than earned it,â Damian replied, turning back to the League and ignoring the man once more.
Omg I love love love this. I really really hope all of the league stuff still happened though, the idea of all of that still happening even though he was never Robin? MWAH
In fact, someone remind me to come back and add a scene of that to this later, please and thank you. It's about time I wrote Tim again anyways.
steph and babs donât need personas, as far as anyone is concerned theyâre just family friends.
bruce has his âbrucie wayneâ persona, very clumsy, playboy, kinda air headed but still very smart and wants to do good for gotham. which of course makes him seem naive cause good?? for gotham??
dick has ârichie grayson-wayneâ whoâs dabbled in modeling before becoming a gymnastics teacher. also very vocal about his âadorable little siblingsâ
jason never really had a ânicknameâ after all he was from crime alley and he had to look GOOD for them or else theyâd go back to âheâs just like the rest of themâ. his persona was very empathetic and kind though, which worked great for him since thatâs how he was like. he always talked about doing several non profit charities. the elites switched their opinions of him on a dime, although the rest of gotham adored him.
damian refuses to go by a nickname. his persona is based around animals, mostly about abandoned animals. itâs very clear his goal for the future is to make good animal shelters and help every animal he can. itâs the only persona he could stomach and there were SEVERAL other ideas
cass is âcass wayneâ very quiet, polite, generally just there in the background. normally hanging around one of her siblings, most often tim. although her being around him unnerves some of them, sheâll get a look in her face and then her and tim both know they were lying. they fully get why she hangs around tim
duke is regularly seen as the normal one. pleasant to be around, kind, but generally also just there. very normal student, not really sure what heâs gonna do. the elites donât particularly for him, though the rest of gotham love him.
timâs persona differs from the rest pretty heavily. he canât get away with being like bruce, the elites vividly remember janet and see her in him very often, which vaguely scares them if theyâll be honest. heâll act like âTim Drake-Wayneâ to unsettle them, after all heâs a Drake why is he acting clumsy? theyâve seen him when he was younger and he was the spitting image of perfect. it makes more sense to them when he trips and lands right where he can tell them something no one else can hear. âTimothy Drakeâ is what scares them though. the tim that casually whispers secrets no one else knows, who points out someone theyâre supposed to have a âprivate meeting withâ in a week. who has nearly cause several of them to go broke with such simple actions, and the only reason they didnât was cause he let them stay rich. there was one elite who insulted damian near tim and suddenly said elite had to get an apartment in crime alley, pay his now ex-wife, a kid he had with some random person, and several debts
the fact that lex luther and tim are some kind of friends also doesnât make them feel super great but thatâs another issue
Apparently it's time to start posting and reblogging How to Tumblr stuff again. Lots of people are hopping from Twitter to Bluesky. A big thing to emphasize is that "repost" is the term bsky uses for "retweet", and we need to educate on the difference between "repost" and "reblog" here on Tumblr. We have so many things saying "don't repost things!" and that might cause confusion now that bsky has entered the game. I'd hate to see people avoiding Tumblr because they got yelled at for something they didn't do, because lingo is different.
I'll start: on Tumblr, "reblog" is sharing the original post on your blog for your followers to see. "Repost" is creating a new post with something you saved or downloaded or screenshoted from someone else's blog, and that's highly discouraged here. Please reblog to share the original so the creator can get the interactions too.

My latest poem, 'Bruised Veins,' was featured by Brevi Magazine! Support the publication on Instagram by giving them a follow, a like, or sending in a submission, as they are merely beginning to take shape.
The poem explores human existence in its darkest momentsâ when we're grieving the loss of a loved one, the loneliness, and the hardships that come with shattered friendships.
