my reasoning is assuming that the triplets were born in 1900, like I am saying they are given both the art book having a little picture showing concept art of Pedro with his death year listed as 1900, and then this picture that's right behind Alma and Mirabel when Alma finds her right after she leaves Bruno's tower

tumblr killed the quality and I'm not sure how to make it better but it says 'Encanto established in 1900' in spanish. so with these two facts, along with the fact that Pedro's death, the Encanto's establishment, and the triplets birth all happened on the exact same day, I feel very safe saying they were born October 17th 1900, and not 1899 like people keep saying.

Given that they are canonically 50 years old, canon would have to take place after their 50th birthday, which would be in 1950. Canon couldn't take place on Antonio's birthday in May of 1950 or they would only be 49. I hope this makes sense I tried to explain it the best I could lol

every time I hang out with my sister's kids all I can think about is how exhausted alma must have been all the time how did she take care of 3 of these superpowered things by herself while helping build and run a town
