I started playing on july 8 and finished my first life on july 14 (yesterday). Today i got 3 more endings (by using the same save from around end of 18yo, just choosing different options from there on)

I recently played through the game 'I Was A Teenage Exocolonist' and felt inspired to paint what an alien nightsky might look like. This piece is watercolor with some digital touch ups.

By pure coincidence I happened to be working on this just as a fandom event was happening, so instead of keeping it as a personal piece, I figured I'd share it. It's a wonderful little game, and it deserves a lot more love.

A day late but here is “What could have been” for day two of exoweek! It was crazy in the first play-through that Tammy dies so young and we get a glimpse of her through a vision, older, happy, and full of life.

Shout out to I Was a Teenage Exocolonist for having a silly soap opera name but then being one of the most engaging slice-of-life video games I've ever played with some of the most BRUTAL emotional stakes.

Like, yeah you do get to flirt with your childhood friends if you want to, but also you have to hide debilitating visions of future events from all your loved ones, scramble to rescue your childhood friend before she dies in a fucked-up accident when you're seven, try and fail and fail and FAIL to save [REDACTED] from dying in every timeline, watch the unfolding effects of childhood trauma on your friends, scour the alien landscapes for enough food to keep your colony from starving, spend MONTHS in the field and in the xenobiology lab to cure your dad's increasingly-severe medical issues, grapple with loss, deal with fascists, hopefully stage a coup, intentionally expose yourself to radiation, and nearly/actually get eaten by giant alien megafauna.

Also there's an alien you can kiss and a teen dance party.
