Panel 1: Title panel that reads Bob! by: JDVM. Spyder (a dark nucleus ball with five large spider-like tendrils protruding from it, and a tangled mess of wire jumbled all around the core) stands nearby and has two of its tendrils wrapped around and through all of the letters in the title, even looping into the byline. Panels 2-29: These panels depict Bob (a box robot with a worm sticking out of it) and Sam (a spherical robot with a mechanical grin) running away from Spyder and leading its tendrils on a mad chase. Many small panels show one or both robots leading the tendrils around town, in and out of buildings, around trees, through cars, and tangled up in many different obstacles. They cross the tendrils many times, culminating in a final panel showing Spyder, finally out of jumbled wire and crisscrossed in a tangled web of its own making.

Panel 1: Bob (a box robot with a worm sticking out of it) and Sam (a spherical robot with a mechanical grin) are hiding behind a large crate from Spyder (a dark nucleus ball with five large spider-like tendrils protruding from it, and a tangled mess of wire jumbled all around the core). Spyder has found them. It has one tendril wrapped around the crate taunting Bob, who looks at it inquisitively. Sam runs off, screaming as another tendril and the main body chase after him. Panel 2: Bob lifts one finger into the air as Spyder continues to chase after Sam, its tangled wire coalescing down one tendril. Bob: That’s it! Panel 3: Bob engages the thrusters on the bottom of his feet and flies past Spyder, looping the tendril that chases him back around itself.

Panel 1: Bob (a box robot with a worm sticking out of it) and Sam (a spherical robot with a mechanical grin) are hiding behind a large crate from Spyder (a dark nucleus ball with five large spider-like tendrils protruding from it, and a tangled mess of wire jumbled all around the core) who stalks around the other side of it, looking for them. Bob: Okay. I almost have this figured out. Panel 2: Spyder continues to search in the background. Bob: I just need a few more points of data. Panel 3: Spyder has moved closer to the crate. Sam jumps in surprise as one of Spyder’s tendrils has wrapped all the way around the crate and is tapping Bob on the shoulder. Panel 4: Bob looks behind him to see the tendril. Spyder has walked to their side of the crate and is tapping Sam on the shoulder. Bob: Crap.

Panel 1: Title panel showing a crescent headed scepter very close. Upon it reads “Bob! by JDVM” Panel 2: Panel pulls back on the scepter (no longer with title) as a stick figure hand reaches in and touches it in the center with a “boop!” Panel 3: Panel zooms back in on the crescent head of the scepter, which is now glowing. Panel 4: Panel pulls way back to show Crescent (A squat robot whose head is a crescent shape holding a scepter with a crescent shaped head). The scepter will sparkle for the rest of the comic. Crescent has erupted with light with a “Ping!” He also has a look of complete joy that will persist throughout the rest of the comic. Panel 5: Two long ribbons appear on the ends on Crescent’s crescent shaped head with a “Ping!” Panel 6: The ribbons swirl around Crescent’s body and wrap around him as everything glows. Panel 7: The ribbons release as a crescent moon robot insignia appears on his body with a “Ping!” Panel 8: Crescent does a fanciful leap to the left as his head ribbons trail behind. Panel 9: Crescent bends way backwards on one stubby leg and points the other up into the air. It erupts with light and a “Ping!” but we don’t see any change. Panel 10: Crescent does a big, fanciful leap to the right, his head ribbons trailing up and behind. Panel 11: He spins around on one leg as the ribbons swirl all about. Panel 12: Crescent strikes a pose facing the viewer with his wand hand on one hip and the other giving a salute upon his forehead. The ribbons form a large heart shape around him.

Panel 1: Cass (A robot shaped like a vase with an antlered crown atop her head upon a floating disk, with wispy wire arms and a W on her chest) has her hands upon her hips and looks off to the side. Panel 2: She looks down at her wrist as if at a watch. Panel 3: She looks up at a sound effect going “Ding!” as her hat flies off her head in surprise. Panel 4: She stands before an oven, taking a sheet full of cookies out of it. Cass: I hope Bob and Sam find these pleasant.

Panel 1: Queen Vlavoil (A robot shaped like the letter V, with shaggy hair, a vacuum hand, and angular, mesh-like legs) stands before a table across from General Alpha (A robot shaped like the letter A, dressed in militaristic garb) who sits upon an easy chair. Behind her, Harold (a small robot whose head is a horizontal cylinder atop a ball) sits while holding a tray containing steaming teacups. Alpha: I hear Star is attacking the city. Panel 2: Harold has departed and the teacups are on the table. Vlavoil: Hm. Panel 3: Vlavoil holds one of the cups aloft. Vlavoil: He probably just wants attention.

Panel 1: Sam (a spherical robot with a mechanical grin) spins around, dizzy. In the background Bob (a box robot with a worm sticking out of it) charges forwards, firing his weapon at Spyder (a dark nucleus ball with five large spider-like tendrils protruding from it, and a tangled mess of wire jumbled all around the core) who stands in a defensive posture. Panel 2: Sam is *very* dizzy and continues to spin around. In the background, Spyder expands, its wires less condensed at it threatens Bob with two arms. Bob continues firing. Panel 3: Sam falls over with a loud “foomp!” In the background, Spyder has grabbed Bob, and expanded further with two arms wrapped around him tight. Bob fires down at the other robot.

Panel 1: Title panel reading “Bob by JDVM.” The word Bob is being crushed under planks of wood, a bathtub and sink. Panel 2: A stick figure human on her hands and knees holds a hand to her head within a destroyed building. Another stick figure human can be seen in the background buried under a large plank of wood. A car can be seen in the ruin of this room. Readers would know that one of these humans is likely Doctor and the other Freida, but not know which is which. Human: Good. The gas line hasn’t blown yet Panel 3: The human crawls across the room to the other human. Human: I can’t let you die. Panel 4: Closeup of a pair of glasses that have been cracked and destroyed. A had reaches down toward them. Panel 5: The awake human stands and lifts the wooden plank off of the other human with one arm. She is holding the glasses in the other. Human: I know it didn’t work out. We are far better off without each other. Panel 6: She now carries the other human over her shoulders while still holding tight to the ruined glasses. Human: But the world would be poorer without you in it. Panel 7: She reaches a place of safety and sets the other human down against a crate. Panel 8: She sits down as well, glasses still in hand, and looks to the other human. We see the shadow of a new arrival fall over the two of them. Panel 9: Closeup of the shadow as it coalesces into a familiar, heroic shape. Panel 10: The human looks over at the new arrival. Human: Oh good… Bob’s here. Panel 11: Bob (a box robot with a worm sticking out of it) stands protective, the two humans behind him safe for the moment. Human: Zzzz

Panel 1: Title panel that looks like a menu. It reads “Bob by JDVM” and offers Action, Drama, Romance, Comedy, Robots, Bacon, and Coffee at various prices. Panel 2: Large picture window seen from the outside with the word O’Dell’s painted on it. Within we see Doctor (a stick figure human with glasses) and Freida (another stick figure) sitting in a diner booth. Panel 3: Closeup of Doctor. She is holding a cup of coffee and looks away. Doctor: This isn’t… Freida (offscreen): I know. Panel 4: Closeup of Freida. She has a cup of coffee nearby and has her hands folded patiently on the table in front of her. Doctor (offscreen): I’m not trying to… Freida: I know. Panel 5: Closeup of Doctor. She shifts the coffee to her other hand and looks out the window. Doctor: I almost died. Panel 6: She shifts the coffee back to her other hand and looks right at Freida. Doctor: The other day. During the crystal attack. Panel 7: She looks down at her coffee. It has grown cold. Doctor: I got caught in one. Panel 8: She raises her arm to her face and begins sobbing into it. Doctor: The robots saved me. I… … … Panel 9: We see both women from inside the diner with the window in the background. Freida is leaning across the table and has taken Doctor’s hand. Doctor is looking out the window. We can see a car, very small and in an odd position, almost as if hovering. Freida: Helen, you’ve been cooped up for far too long. You— Panel 10: Doctor leans in close to Freida and grabs onto her. The car looks so much closer now. Panel 11: The car, sideways, crashes through the window. Table and booth are knocked over as Doctor holds on tight to Freida. Panel 12: We see the car’s trajectory from the side as it continues into the café. Doctor and Freida are horizontal and spinning out of the way. Doctor’s glasses go flying.

Panel 1: Doctor (a stick figure human with glasses) and Freida (another stick figure) sit in a booth in a diner. Behind them is a massive window with lettering that says “O’Dell’s”. Doctor: Bob is pretty impressive. Panel 2: The image does not change as Doctor struggles for any conversation other than what is on her mind. Doctor: And the round one. Freida: Sam. Panel 3: Doctor: Sam’s funny. I like him.
