imo you have to find a way to relate to your body like you would relate to another person who you had a responsibility to understand and care for. Its not about being in charge. Its about figuring out what is making your body feel that way and doing something about it if you can. But even if you can't, doing what you can at least helps it not feel ignored. Its saying, "this world isn't right." Is saying back, "well what do you want me to do about it?" really supposed to help? If you were put in charge of a child is that what you would say to them?
