If I get a message from someone that I don't know that just starts "Hi" or "Hello", then the next message is "How are you?" and then they start to ask me for personal information, I will assume that they are a scammer and block them. Someone claiming to want to get to know me but being incredibly vague about why will get the same treatment.

The older I get the more frustrated I become by password portals that don't have an option to let me see what I typed. There can be Dozens of reasons I make a typo: I'm unfamiliar with the keyboard, I can't recall if I correctly hit caps, I'm phone typing and my fingers are big, autocorrect tried to "help". I know it can only be harder for people with mobility or vision impairments which make typing/reading harder. I know it's a security concern but I at least try to do sensitive things in private where passerbys can't see.
This goes triple for any accounts that'll lock you out after 3-5 failed attempts BTW.
I would really recommand lesspass in your situation. It's a password manager but it's stateless : nothing is stored anywhere and you don't need your management opinion to use it. It come as a browser plugin, an app or you can just use the website.
It also has this magical feature that I wish all password input field had : it generate a combinaison a emoji as you type.
You don't need to see what you type anymore. If the emojis don't match what you are used to, you made a typo and it doesn't cost you a try to figure it out.

A decade ago, the state of Florida stripped a teacher of her license for sexual abuse of a 16-year-old boy. Last year, she opened a private school there with ease.
Her name and photo were on her new school’s website and details of her case were easy to find with an online search.
The state also knew that a transplanted Midwesterner had been fired from her Cincinnati charter school, following felony charges related to misuse of public funds, and had been banned from teaching or running schools in Ohio. Yet Florida did not stop her from starting a private school and collecting public money.
As private schools proliferate in Florida and across the country, fueled by taxpayer dollars, states are choosing not to closely regulate who is operating them or to oversee student safety and achievement, a ProPublica investigation found.
The backgrounds of school founders and employees often simply don’t matter. In Arizona, for example, “state law prohibits our department from a role overseeing private schools,” a spokesperson for the state Department of Education told ProPublica.

to anyone in the areas impacted by the wildfire smoke, my #1 biggest piece of advice as someone whos been dealing with wildfire smoke in the NW united states for years, is build yourself a Corsi-Rosenthal Cube
they perform as well as expensive HEPA air cleaners, and are comparatively VERY inexpensive. all you need is a box fan, 4 air filters, a piece of cardboard, and some duct tape!!!!
i think it took us maybe a half hour to put ours together, if that, and we replace the filters every 3 months. it's really made a HUGE difference, both when the air quality is bad, but also with our allergies

Also just a handy, DIY air filter in general, if a bit bulky. For a less bulky and cheaper (but also less effective) solution, you can simply tape one filter to the fan, cut a shroud if you'd like.
just FYI, this is quite literally what the climate scientists at my work who specialized in wildfire smoke impacts recommend. it works great, it's cheap to make, and it will make a noticeable impact on your air quality.
i have asthma & keep one of these running in my room perpetually. after I set it up the difference in my sleep quality was pretty much night and day. Dont waste your time on proprietary air filters; SIMPLY bust out the duct tape
