This is not a clickbait title.

This is not the kind of post that wants to encourage users to sign a petition or anything like that. Sadly, I think there is little to nothing that can be done to change the current situation. With that said, let me tell you about this problem:

Today, December 3rd 2018, Tumblr announced an imminent change in the “Community guidelines” aka the rules of Tumblr. This is going to affect every single porn blog on Tumblr. Here’s the new rule:

Adult Content. Don't upload images, videos, or GIFs that show real-life human genitals or female-presenting nipples —this includes content that is so photorealistic that it could be mistaken for featuring real-life humans (nice try, though). Certain types of artistic, educational, newsworthy, or political content featuring nudity are fine. Don’t upload any content, including images, videos, GIFs, or illustrations, that depicts sex acts. Starting December 17 (2018) Tumblr is going to slowly take down every single porn blog on their website. Even though they claim to give us "a place to speak freely about topics like art, sex positivity, your relationships, your sexuality, and your personal journey”, we are going in a place that doesn’t allow any kind of adult content.

My blog won’t be shut down until Tumlbr takes an action against it. That means all of my content and reblogs are going to stay online until somebody takes them down. Luckily, my blog was never set as “NSFW” but it won’t take them long to notice that I only share adult content. We are all going to be censored, sooner or later.
