sometimes i see takes from other cis people and it just makes me want to scream bc it’s so immediately obvious they’ve never had a genuine conversation with a trans woman before let alone like. seriously imagined what it must be like. i swear nothing was as paramount to my radicalization as literally just going out in public with my friends & family and seeing the way people look at them. like you think trans women are somehow tapping into some kind of male privilege??? literally just go to the grocery store with a trans woman. you genuinely think trans women are above criticism in the public eye??? ask the nearest trans woman to describe her last few job interviews to you. like what are you even TALKING ABOUTTTTT it’s just insane because it’s SO obvious if you think about these things for more than half a second but these people are so insulated in their little group chats full of dumbasses telling each other exactlyyyyyyyy over and over again that they fail to take a moment to scratch their empty fucking skulls and ask if anyone present has ever known or spoken to a trans woman. jesus christ.
