8 Ways to Cheer Yourself Up (because you deserve it)
To those who feel like no one is supporting and motivating them, to those who feel unappreciated, to those who feel unreasonably sad, to those who feel like everybody is discouraging them to be someone they wanna be, to those who feel like it’s always a battle between the whole world and them, to those who feel like they deserve better, this one’s for you.
I feel for you. I am a very happy person but on some days, I feel so shitty and even worse. Like today, I just feel so alone and heavy on the inside. But you know what, fuck it.. Cheer your goddamn self up because honey, you fucking deserve to be happy. It doesn’t matter if there are people who freaking cares about you or not. Your happiness should be your priority. Do not rely on other people for your own happiness.
So, come on now! Time to turn those frowns into smiles, and tears into giggles.
Here’s a short list on how you can make yourself happy:
1. Get up that bed, inhale and exhale. -- Take a break from all the cruelty there is in this world. Get up because staying in that bed or that cozy couch will not only let you feel even worse but will also make you overthink about literally everything. Stop and breathe for a while, inhale the good, exhale the bad.
2. Play your happy playlist. -- Well, honestly, Im here on Spotify playing sad Chris Brown songs. (HAAHAHA) But it cheers me up cause I get to sing along. Plus, it’s Chris Brown, who doesn’t feel happy listening to him?
3. Think about something else. -- I know this ain’t easy but you gotta stop thinking about it (the thing that makes you sad).. Think about how funny your dad is, how handsome your neighbor is, how cute your dog is, how crazy your bestfriend is, how lovely your curtain is, how clean your desk is, how ugly your handwriting is, how pretty your bag is.. I don’t knooooow, just think about something else, man!
4. Eat Up! -- Forget about the extra calories and eat up! I guess everyone here will agree that eating is something we all feel oh-sooo happy about. If you don’t have your favorite ben and jerry’s in the fridge, go call 6236 or 87000 and just order your faves!
5. Talk to Yourself.-- LOL. I do this sometimes.. And it actually helps! You have to feed your mind and heart something good to stop the heartaches. Tell yourself how pretty and how talented you are, that you can and will reach your dreams, that anything is possible, and that you do not need other people to assure you your success in the future.
6. Think Positive. -- Lessen your burden by thinking that everything will soon be fine. Don’t let yourself carry heavy thoughts. Don’t give up, boo! Remember that a positive mind will bring about positive action that will give you a positive outcome!
7. Keep Yourself Busy. -- Do that one-week-old homework, fold your clothes, watch the episodes you missed, clean your camera roll, write about anything, color your mainstream ‘secret garden’ coloring book, fix your girl pouch, or just you know, surf the net and watch random funny videos. Keeping yourself busy will keep you away from negative thoughts.
8. Pray. -- When all else fails, talk to him and I assure you, you will feel better. I’m not saying this should be your last resort, but when you have tried everything to cheer yourself up and still feel like exploding, just stop and pray. Lift it all up to him and just trust him. There’s nothing a prayer could not cure, remember that.
I hope my post motivates you all and help you guys feel good about yourselves! We don’t need anyone else to make us feel happy, we can do it ourselves!
Cheers,
Peachy Carreon
Thank you, 2015.
Life is truly a roller coaster ride. 2015 made sure I get that. I have been through a lot of downs the past year, but of course, good times were present too! 2015 was a pretty rough year to me, thanks to my family, friends, and my boyfriend, I got out of it alive!
Without them, I could not imagine how else will I back myself up. Especially my boyfriend, David. He never stopped believing, inspiring, and motivating me. He is also my constant reminder that everything will pass and will be okay. I am beyond thankful for having him, cause he never left my side even in my weakest days. For that, I’ve learned to love him more! Same goes to my family, for being my main reason of surviving and striving harder every single day of my life. My friends, who cheer me up and make me forget all my worries once in a while. To you all, thank you.
I am glad though, for all the lessons and realizations I have had over the year. I learned tons of things I am sure I will carry with me forever. Lessons, that some, were learned the hard way-- I got my heart broken, feelings hurt, and eyes swollen. And some, that were learned by simply appreciating life.
So, 2015, thank you for the tough times, you made me stronger!
P.S. Bare with me for a little while-- for days now, I have been wanting to write but could not find the time and momentum to do so. But I will surely be back with more meaty ones!
Cheers,

Tradition
Christmas parties are everywhere!! And the first one I had was with my cousins. Pre-Christmas get together has been our tradition since our parents make the most complicated plans ever for Christmas. Usually, we have it days before Christmas Day but this year, we had to do it a little early cause some of my cousins are going to Bora. Compruuuuuuhmiseeee.
We had it last Saturday, December 12, at my cousin’s house in Marcelo. After having dinner and hours of preparing (ourselves, food, gifts) with my boyfriend. David and I went straight to Marcelo, we arrived at like 11p.m. and unfortunately, we were the first ones to get there. Ugh I hate waiting! I knew my cousins would be late, but wthh..... Not this late. We started the party at 1. HAHAHHAHAHHA We were 14 all-in-all. I won’t go into details to cut the story short. We ate, drank, had bad santa, drank, ate, and drank more. We finished (David and I finished) drinking at around 6:30 a.m. already. Some were still up, doing whatever their energy can get them to doing. I was freaking sleepy already, so David and I marked our territory and slept despite their noise outside the room. It was a good night for everyone, nobody got drunk but all felt sleepy instead! Hahaha now that’s a first.
ESSENCE OF THIS POST: I. HONESTLY.... DO.. NOT.. KNOW.
I just love how traditions made me feel. How traditions kept relationships remain intact. How traditions kept the ties tight. How traditions brought everyone together.
We are growing up, but not growing apart. Our little traditions make sure of that.
And to our cousins abroad, you are missed! I cannot wait to be with the complete gang together with our sweethearts!
Aww, Don’t you just love family gatherings?
Happy Holidays!
Cheers,

Present
I don’t know what brought me to where I am today, to my present self. Never have I thought of juggling a number of different things all at the same time, I don’t know why I allowed myself to be like this. I don’t know, but one thing I’m sure of is that I’m hurt. I was hurt. I was hurt of being treated as one of the many other options available.
I hope you dont regret me

You will always be my 3 a.m. thought.
Will you still love me when you're sober?
I'll never delete the messages you sent me when you were drunk.

Some days, I can't even tell what's right and what's wrong.
He told her he'd love her forever. He left her the day after.
You were a poison to me. I knew that. But look at me now, feeding myself again the poison that nearly ruined me.
Me, 2015
I can't believe I let myself fall into your trap again.

Ber months favorites
First of all, HELLO and I’VE MISSED THIS!!!!! It’s been a while!!! My schedule was pretty jam-packed so I really didn’t have leisure to write here on tumblr. But here I am again sharing with you my new playlist!!! Yayyy
I am happy to be back but my choice of songs may not really attest to that happiness. I have been really into senti songs lately and I’m certain my senti playlist will accompany me throughout the ber months.
So, here it is! (plus my favorite lines from each song)
1. Little Talks- Julia Sheer and Jon D
“ You're gone, gone, gone away I watched you disappear All that's left is a ghost of you Now we're torn, torn, torn apart There's nothing we can do Just let me go, we'll meet again soon. ”
2. Sorry- Maria Mena
“ And I say baby, yes I feel stupid to call you, but I'm lonely And I don't think you meant it when you said you couldn't love me And I thought maybe if I kissed the way you do, you'd feel it too. “
3. Just a Little Bit- Maria Mena
“ Just a little bit pretty Just a little more aware Just a little bit thinner And maybe I'd get there... “
4. Lost Stars- Keira Knightley
“ Take my hand, let's see where we wake up tomorrow. Best laid plans; sometimes are just a one night stand. I'll be damned; Cupid's demanding back his arrow. So let's get drunk on our tears. “
5. Georgia- Vance Joy
“ And I could easily lose my mind The way you kiss me a work each time Pulling me back into the flames And I'm burning up again, I'm burning up. “
6. How Long Will I Love You- Ellie Goulding
“ How long will I love you? As long as stars are above you And longer if I can. “
7. We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off- Ella Eyre
“ The night is young, so are we Let's just get to know each other slow & easily, oh, oh Take my hand, let's hit the floor Shake our bodies to the music Maybe then you'll score, oh, oh. “
8. Stolen Dance- Milky Way
“ The only thing I feel is pain Caused by absence of you Suspense controlling my mind I cannot find the way out of here I want you by my side So that I never feel alone again. “
9. Tee Shirt- Birdy
“ I should know 'cause I'd spend all the whole day Listening to your message I’m keeping and never deleting. “
“ But no one else heard The weight of your words Or felt the effect that they have on my mind. “
10. The Moon Song- Karen O
“ There's things I wish I knew There's no thing I'd keep from you It's a dark and shiny place But with you my dear I'm safe and we're a million miles away.”
PLUS, OF COURSE THE SONGS OF SAM SMITH NEVER LEAVE MY LIST OF FAVES!
So yah, try listening to it if you feel like being Senti lol! I hope you enjoy it!! :)

Dear Self
Dear Self,
Peachy, Hi. I am writing you this to cheer you up about whatever it is that bothers you. Is it your weight? Your bad breakout? Is it about school? About your friends? About your boyfriend? Your family? Or is it something else?
But hey, no matter what it is. I want you to remember three important things:
1. This, too, shall pass. God will never put you in a situation that you cannot handle. So I advise you stop all the self-pity and just stop worrying. Everything will eventually be okay. It will get better, I promise you.
2. Think positive. Being a pessimist won’t help a bit. It will only drag you down even more. Always try to look for the brighter side of the situation-- because there is always a brighter side to everything.
3. Problems are made to help us be stronger, wiser, and better. Hard times come with lessons that will not only equip us for the second time we encounter the same problem again but for the stronger, wiser, and better you.
And to all the people out there who are not in their happiest state at the moment, remember that this is just a phase and you will be okay.
Cheers,
Peachy Carreon
