(pinned post, last updated 20.09.2025)
Some basic info: I am - An autistic trans woman - Born in Finland 1991 - A chaos magick practitioner (with all the chaotic mess of beliefs that it brings and that is impossible to explain in one post and that is always evolving) - A martial artist (with a somewhat similar philosophy to chaos magick, I have practiced a lot of different things - I'll gladly be more specific if anyone's interested, it is one of my special interests) - Politically largely an anarcho-communist and also just generally leftist extremist, anti-capitalist, anti-fascist etc. and also even more generally a moral utilitarian
I keep running into politics here as well so I figured I should maybe make a list of my takes. I mainly use this blog for journaling my own occult practice but I do think it's important to also be hostile towards bigots and fascists etc. - both in your practice and in real life elsewhere. Pretty much everything has politics attached to it in one form or another, even though it's not always grand.
Feel free to comment on this post (or send an ask) if you want me to expand on something - in fact, I'd rather you ask than assume. I know the list is already entirely too long so I won't be talking about each point in that much detail.
...Also please excuse the dry visual style of this pinned post, I'm not much of an aesthetician :b

(pt.1)
Right-wingers, racists, bigots, TERFs, conservatives, LGBTQ+ phobes etc. are bad, but also centrists are usually just as bad if not worse.
Self-defense can be necessary - whether it's about defending your immediate self or someone else, or if it's defending an oppressed demographic from a political group or individual.
Present is more important than the past. If a problematic person is trying their best to improve, you don't need to coddle them but do welcome them to learn.
What a person acts on is more important than what goes on in their heads. Intentions and actual wants are also more important than the specific thoughts and instinctual desires someone has. This of course applies to intrusive thoughts but also to any problematic paraphilias that the person is not acting on (or trying to advocate for).
NERF or nothing. I am a full on feminist and any exclusivists can fuck right off. No TERFs, SWERFs or anything of the like.
Capitalism is bad and leads to fascism. While I'd love a complete revolution and while small gradual improvements might not be enough to solve it at this point, the small steps are still important to keep it from getting worse... As quickly at least. Diversity of tactics is important for success on a large scale and celebrating the small wins keeps the motivation up.
I do not believe in absolute "good" and "evil" but those are still useful terms to use. It is okay to describe a right-wing influencer as evil for example. It is also okay to describe a person as good even if they hold some problematic views.
All billionaires are evil, no exceptions. I will also extend this notion to the vast majority of people who have more than a hundred million dollars of worth, and probably most over ten million as well.
It is okay to celebrate the death of an evil person. It is okay to even hope for the death of an evil person. That doesn't mean you support the way the person died.
I do not support legal death penalty, mainly because I do not trust the judicial system to have a 100% accuracy even if they actually tried. I also do not support the for profit prison system and in a perfect world, I wouldn't support prison system in general. It would be optimal to divert as much funds from the judicial and prison system to mental health and social support systems, which would reduce the need for crime in the first place.
Police are not there to protect you, they are there to protect capitalism. It is an inherently corrupt system and it doesn't need reforming - it needs complete obliteration and building another, different, community-based system from ground up instead.
Accelerationism is stupid. If things went to complete shit right now, the people who currently have most resources would likely just end up on the top again. We need all the time to prepare we can get, and we need to keep preparing. How you prepare is up to you, but I suggest connecting to any kind of IRL community to be a part of the preparation.

(continued pt.2)
Do not dehumanize anyone, period. I have sympathy for beasts and monsters because they cannot understand - people can choose to do evil precisely because they're humans, they have agency.
When something is considered morally bad, ask yourself why? Usually there is a good reason for it, but also it is important to find the nuance of when it is bad and if there are situations where it's okay. Avoiding generalization is usually good.
Generalization can be good if it simplifies an important message you need to get across. Just be sure to weigh the consequences to the best of your ability - consider your audience and if you'd be widening or narrowing their worldview. Also be ready to receive a lot of questions and criticism if your generalized message reaches an unintended audience.
Everyone is privileged in one way or another. This obviously doesn't mean you can't criticize others on their privileged takes, but try to be aware of your own as well. Privilege doesn't make you a bad person but it is good to use that specific privilege to help others who don't have it. Abusing a privilege for your own gain on the expense of others however, is obviously bad.
Everyone buys into some stereotypes and some of them are going to be harmful. You are not immune to the effects of your upbringing and environment - what matters is that you try to be better. Being "good" is not about being morally perfect, it's about doing your best to get closer to it.
You don't owe anybody your time on the internet, and nobody owes you their time here either. Using that block button on a hair trigger is fine for any reason no matter how small, even if you just vaguely feel like it. It is not an insult to a stranger that you're not interested in the things they talk about, and there is so much content that you likely lose nothing by moving to the next spot.

(continued pt.3)
You should keep asking yourself why the thing you think is bad actually is (or is not) bad. There is no such thing as an action that is inherently bad, the thing that is good or bad about action is always the consequences of that action.
Words are actions too. What you say has consequences on what other people think and how they act in turn. Be mindful of what you say.
Accept that you do not have all the knowledge in the world. Allow yourself to be educated on the consequences of the things you say or do. Try to be mindful of the context as well.
Arguing against some bigot who you know isn't going to change their mind can still be useful if other people see the things you say. Not only can you share your perspective with the onlookers, you may bring the much needed sense of belonging for someone marginalized.
Choose your battles according to if you have energy for it and/or if you have better things to do with that energy. Taking care of yourself is also a good use for your energy because your own basic well-being always comes first - and if that's not your style, think of it like this: if you burn out, you can't help others.
Being logical doesn't mean you should dismiss or discard emotions (neither your own nor the emotions of other people). Emotions are a very real thing that can bring either joy or suffering into world, both in the first-hand experience of them and in the reactions they instill in people. Being nice to people is part of being a logical human being.
"AI" (as the term is usually used today) is useful in many things, but you should not be using it to generate art in any form. Leave creativity to actual people and use this insanely powerful tool for something actually useful like advancing medicine and other science and technology.
