Another month in
So made it through Feb with only a few wobbles. Lost another 4 lb over the month and 2 months in I am now actually enjoying the running group I'm going to. Got fantastic support and encouragement from a few of my closest friends. We're all doing it at our own pace but they are good enough to hang around at the end til I make it back in too 😂 The group itself is fantastic. All ages, sizes and abilities and everyone just wants everyone else to make it round in their best way. Just a really nice social feel to it. With the evenings getting lighter I'm not entirely sure how il feel about hauling my sweaty, panting self around the town centre in head to foot Lycra (with a tshirt and shorts over the top. I'm not feeling that brave even in the dark) but I have a feeling il get over those apprehensions as it does a superb job of stopping at least some of the jigging that comes with jogging when your 21 stone. This week was my first 5k done under 40 minutes. So proud of that. And all the more determined to shave a little off that again next outing now!
