Mind The Gap

Before:

Optional Step One: Wash yo face and start with moisturizer. I use Lush brand toner and face lotion. It keeps my face moisturized longest.

REAL Step one: Cover ENTIRE face with primer. I use Shadowbox Photo Finish. I got the tube probably 5 years ago for $8 or $9 dollars. It is so worth it.

Step Two: Once that is  on, use your concealer stick ALL OVER your face. I use Revlon brand face products.

(Here's it half blended so you can see the difference)

(Dab the stick over any problem areas you may want to cover. Dont worry about the difference in colour there, it will be evened out with the foundation.

Step Three: Get yo foundation on. Again, I use Revlon brand. For everyday makeup I have a foundation brush, but for costume makeup I will use a sponge and pat (sort of) the makeup onto my face, dont rub or drag the sponge, it may streak.

Step Four: Powder Application! Now that your face is one uniform(ish) colour, you need to add dimension back to it. This is going to be in multiple parts, so here we go.

First part: bronzer. Apply to cheekbones, forehead, and any other spots that the sun will hit/burn (tip of nose, chin, etc)

Second Part: contrast, Find a color that is slightly darker than your skintone/bronzer. This will go under your cheekbones, lightly along your jawline and along the sides of your nose.

Third Part: Highlight. I use a light color along the very tops of my cheekbones and right in the center of my forehead where my eyebrows are to really open up my eyes/face

Fourth Part: Tone evening powder! I managed to not get a picture of this, but you can buy an ELF brand compact for like $3 at Target. It is a compact with yellow, pink, blue, and green inside of it. Apply liberally to entire face

Last Part: Blush and Top Coat Blush is simple, apples of your cheeks. For the "Top Coat" I use a powder thats around my skintone and just put it over my entire face to seal everything in
