[Image Description: a textbook titled âChemistry Mattersâ. Itâs authors are highlighted, and the authors are Tan Yin Toon, Chen Ling Kwong, John Sadler, and Emily Clare.
To the right is the second edition of the textbook, with its authors still highlighted. However, Emily has changed her last name from Clare to Sadler.
The caption says, âLooks like sometime found love while writing a book.â
End Description]
They had good chemistry.

btw anyone who says "this shouldn't be happening in the US, we're turning into a third world country" can choke. anything can happen anywhere and the US government has quite literally installed or backed fascist dictatorships in countries it exploits.
thinking more about the ""afab separatism" bs and like
1. i feel like if any group were to try and push that, it would be cis radfems trying to coerce transmascs into joining a cult-like space where they could abuse, assault, and get them to detransition. and if i ever saw that being said seriously i would be extremely against it bc it would put transmascs into EXTREME danger by acting like cis women are ~perfectly safe for us to be around~ instead of fully capable of hurting us.
and 2. i do kind of. feel like it's a bit misgendery? like imo it's obviously implying that transmascs are acting like radfems/""transandrophobia truthers"" are radfems or support radfems, and that + the insistence on calling us "afabs" really just. feels like one step from saying that anyone who talks about transandrophobia is secretly a cis radfem woman.

I admit to having plenty of faults. Iâm an imperfect person. But at least I donât say âwhoa what kinda drugs were they on when they made this?â when I see something with the slightest hint of surrealism
hey if yâall can please donate to the carolina abortion fund. nc is one of few states in the southeast to not currently be planning bans on abortions. weâre gonna be absolutely swamped from people in the southeast seeking safe abortions but thereâs only so many people with so much funding that can help. ill reblog with the link.
is it wrong of me to bring up that white women uphold patriarchy and white supremacy to better themselves and move up the ladder? I feel like I need to say this before people start saying "men are controlling women's bodies" because it's not just women's bodies being controlled and it is not just men who have had a hand in this.
sooooo today the supreme court ruled that when you are arrested cops are no longer obligated to read you your rights and you cannot sue a police officer for damages under federal civil rights law even if the evidence was ultimately used against you in your criminal trial, citing âwhile the miranda warning protects a constitutional right, the warning itself is not a right that would trigger the ability to bring a civil lawsuit.â not to mention earlier this month the supreme court ruled in favor of the border patrol agent who assaulted someone which is particularly concerning because of the issue of constitutional rights within the 100 mile border zone

In light of fuckery ongoing on the highest levels of the law in the USA: if you find yourself in need of an abortion or contraception no matter where you live, connect to Women on Web.
Women on Web is an international online abortion service, providing access to safe abortion services. Contact them: [email protected]
Founded in 2005 by Dr. Rebecca Gomperts, Women on Web is a team of medical doctors, researchers, activists, and help desk members. Women on Web advocates for and facilitates access to contraception and safe abortion services to protect women's health and lives.
The mission of Women on Web is to provide safe, accessible and affordable online abortion care to women and people around the world. We work to catalyze procedural and legal change in abortion access through telemedicine, research, community outreach, and advocacy. We strive for a world where safe abortion care is accessible for all women and pregnant people, with respect and dignity.Â
People who need safe abortion or contraception can make an online consultation at Women on Web website. After being reviewed by medical doctors, medical abortion pills or contraceptives are provided via mail. Our help desk team accompanies women and pregnant people during all stages of the process and responds to any questions that may arise within 24 hours. Supervised by medical doctors, our help desk operates in 16 languages, including Arabic, English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, and Turkish.Â
Women on Web is available to all people who need help with preventing and ending unwanted pregnancies. We are committed to ensuring that everyone, including trans, non-binary, genderqueer, and gender non-conforming people can safely access abortion and contraception without discrimination or alienation.
The WHO classifies safe abortion as accessing "the pills through a telemedicine service such as Women on Web which gives them information and support." (Guardian, 2017)
The Women on Web website is a source of reliable information and collects personal abortion experiences to allow and encourage women and pregnant people to openly explore and discuss their reproductive choices. Our online consultation is translated in 22 languages and we work to ensure that all women and pregnant people have access to scientific and evidence-based information on safe abortion and contraception. Â
Electoralists desperately holding onto & defending their decrepit, crumbling, oppressive system: "Um actually everyone getting mad about how pointless their 'harm reduction' vote turned out to be are wrong because we're paying for not voting hard enough back in 2016. So this is actually still our fault for not having been good enough Patriotic American Citizens and thus we deserve to be oppressed. Vote!"
Shockingly you, nor millions of people, deserve to be oppressed just because they didn't say "no" loud enough! Or in unison! Or """"""correctly"""""" by filling in a fucking ballot! Which still does not, did not, and will not prevent state oppression! Just like it already hasn't! Someone shooting you in the face isn't in the right just because you didn't fill in the proper forms demanding you not have your autonomy or life taken away!
And what you refuse to get through your thick skulls is that if the people in power want to destroy something of yours, of ours, they will! Because they can! No fucking ballot can stop this! "It's because of 2016" it's because Evangelicals, politicians, lobbyists, and capitalism benefits from constraining the modes of life and liberty (which, no, we do not have) to what is deemed most beneficial for them and obtaining/retaining said power, you fucking troglodytes. They are not beholden to some magical force imbued by checkmarked boxes, ffs
The fucks who think people within their country deserve to suffer and be nagged at forever in place of action -against- the political system are the same shits who think people in other countries deserve to be oppressed by dictatorships or have their nation's governments be tampered with by larger empires because, in their putrid minds, those 'foreigners' also "voted wrong/didn't vote enough".
abortion rights and trans rights (and gay rights more broadly) are interconnected and the same people are behind the attempts and efforts to eliminate them all.
If you donât control your own body, you control nothing at all.
It is fucked up that no one really mentions that if you have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) you have a higher likelihood of developing diabetes and endometrial cancer. Fucking cancer! I've been diagnosed with PCOS for around 7 years and I didn't know that until I went to Planned Parenthood a couple of days ago. No one thought to tell me. All they focused on was weight gain, acne, and extra body/facial hair because that is obviously the worst thing that can happen. (Note: major sarcasm there.)
You know one of the only ways to make it harder to develop either of those? By taking some form of birth control. The pill works, but so does an IUD, an implant, or the depo shot.
This is part of why we mention that birth control is healthcare. Yes, even if birth control methods were just for preventing pregnancy they would still be healthcare, but they also can potentially keep me alive.
Anyway, I'm going to be getting an IUD as soon as I can.
Abortion is still legal in 49 states! Visit ineedana.com to find a clinic near you.
There is a strong network of abortion funds throughout the country that have provided financial and practical support for decades! Visit http://abortionfunds.org/need-abortion to find your local one.
Anyone interested in promoting abortion access in the United States should donate to Keep Our Clinics to keep independent clinics (which provide 2/3 of abortions) open, or to their local abortion funds!
Anyone who's taking or planning on taking abortion pills at home can call or text ReproCare at 1-833-226-7821 for information, support, and referrals.
There are ways to legally get an abortion without your parents' permission if you are under 18! Visit the Judicial Bypass Wiki to find information specific to each state or call the JB Helpline: 1-844-868-2812

with the heard case results and now roe v wade being overturned we desperately need and hopefully will see another actual wave of feminism happen and i'm begging so many of you on here to learn the difference between feminism and transphobia and to stop writing all feminism off as t/rf ideology and learn to think critically. all it does is hurt women and trans people, and especially trans women. and to stop calling people who clearly aren't feminists t/rfs. because the people who are making the laws don't give a shit about women OR trans people. misogyny and transphobia are so closely linked (i wonder why...) and writing off all feminism as transphobic is going to help t/rfs recruit vulnerable and angry young women/girls while helping the masses to write off the feminism that we so desperately need. we need to unite together to fight the patriarchy that oppress us ALL to make a tangible difference against misogyny and transphobia. feminism inherently supports and includes trans women because they are women, and those sprouting any other kind of idea have a deep misunderstanding of feminism and lots of displaced anger and hatred.
A selection of stories on the history of reproductive rights and abortion to foster dialogue inside and outside of the classroom.
