We have a little update for you...

...regarding, as it happens, a little update. Because the #sims 4 has added a little update to its diamond-headed suburban paradise. Quite a few updates, in fact. And they are really rather wonderful if we don't say so ourselves. Because representation, as we all know, really does matter. The Sims is a beloved game, and beloved since its release all the way back in 2000. For trans folk, finally being able to give transmasculine and nonbinary Sims top surgery scars will mean the world. For those who, for example, wear hearing aids, or glucose monitors, the chance to represent themselves in one of, let's face it, everyone's favorite games will be a very real joy indeed. For all of these, with this new update, who knows how many people will be helped simply by being able to see themselves in this game.

SO APPARENTLY THOSE ‘VICTIMS’ (the 3 mean girls,, I forgot their names nor do I want to remember)

were the SAME people who accused Joseph Quinn of SA.

1. THE TIMING: I understand that in some cases it takes the victims some time to actually report the abuse they suffered due to the trauma and fear of their abusers finding out, but the timing is extremely odd. If this happened a year or two ago, why did they wait so long? More specifically (this will sound rude), why did they wait for him to be trending in order to make these accusations?

Also, someone who’s going to accuse a celebrity or someone known of doing something, knows that there is going to be backlash, and a lot of it. They know that there is a big possibility that people are going to be coming at them or stalking them in order to uncover something else, which is why they try to avoid the attention, but in this case, it seems like this girl is loving and seeking the attention. A friend of mine was SA by someone really known (and loved) in town, so she made her report anonymously. Only the cops and lawyers are the ones who know who the victim is, as well as my two other friends, no one else, because she wanted to avoid all of that. So again, it doesn’t make sense to me.

2. THE PLATFORM: Twitter, really? Why not go to the police? I’m really sorry, but if you’re a victim of abuse, robbery, or anything that attempts against your integrity, you go to the police instead of talking about it on Twitter. What will Twitter do? Charge the assaulter? Definitely not.

Spreading this information on Twitter is screaming “I need attention” imo, and the fact that these girls, more specifically the milkievich one, keeps reposting everything she sees about him, laughing and literally fighting people because they don’t believe her, says more than enough. Even if this happened a year ago or whatever, it’s still and will always be a sensitive topic, so her actions just show how hungry and needy she is for clout.

3. THE “SCREENSHOTS” AND SCREEN RECORDINGS: In those screenshots in which he allegedly is posing naked, the man in there looks similar to him, but at the same time really different to the point in which you doubt if it’s really him. The convo screenshots, really easy to fake.

With the Instagram screen recordings, let me tell you something, you can fake them and it’s really easy to do so. I know it for a fact because I did it for a uni project. Nothing creepy, just pretending my friends and I are in a group with let’s say Kylie Jenner and she’s telling us to stop judging our bodies, and because she’s trendy, we stop doing it. When I tell you it’s really easy, all you need is Capcut, someone to change their name and profile to the celebrity’s name, and a really good pulse. Yes, you can even fake the whole sliding back into the group chat while showing the profile shit.

Last but not least, I find it unbelievable that people that have actually come forward defending him, are getting called liars. It goes both ways you know? And we’ve only heard one side of the story, conveniently a side of the story in which they’re demonizing him without solid proof besides random Instagram “screenshots”.

I hope the truth comes out soon, because it’s unfair that he’s being trashed just because people decided to believe someone who instead of going to the police to report the abuse she allegedly was a victim of, spread it on Twitter and has now made it her whole personality and account aesthetic.
