hey guys just wanted to say that while it’s super awesome that y’all wanna support jews this holiday season, it’s not really appropriate to do the bugs bunny “i wish all ______ a very happy ______” meme for yom kippur. it’s great for sukkot, fantastic for simchat torah, but yom kippur is a day for repentance, remembrance, and forgiveness. it’s probably the most serious holiday we’ve got, so please don’t make light of it. instead of “happy yom kippur”, maybe say something like “have a meaningful holiday”, or “have a healthy fast” for people doing the traditional sundown to sundown fast. yom kippur starts with kol nidre (some people go to services, others just eat a big pre-fast meal, my family does both) september 15th at sundown and lasts until sundown on the 16th. please be conscious of your jewish peers! love, your local jewish nonbinary lesbain

Sorri I keep reblogging this 😣 we were so unprepared, just now we ran out of food and there's no one who can go outside, both my mom and dad are still getting fevers, their oxygen dipped a little, and the govt is not sending us any aid whatsoever; we have to buy our own oxygen tanks, our own food and medicine to treat our symptoms; have to pay for our own chest x rays and everything. Thank you for everything we received, I have so much brainfog and cough still, so this post is a bit all over the place;; but thank you so much. Sorry for clogging the dashboard hhhhhhh

Do you guys mind If I reblog my covid post again ): I don't have a job atm (queued up for one) and I'm PRETTY SURE I have cfs after covid but I'm unsure if it will ever be diagnosed. I'm the only one of my family who works. My mom is a full time wheelchair user, needs adult diapers, medication for her diabetes (insulin every day), her meds for her seizures and tremors (polynerv) as she had "died" before from sepsis, leaving much of her brain and nerves damaged in the moments of her brain death. My dad takes maintenance meds for his heart (rosuvastatin, amlodipine) my sister is also autistic and is a picky eater.. as for me. I have pcos, suspected pots and cfs, and confirmed long covid. I do commissions but I am just so weary that it goes so deep, that I really would like to take the next two months to try and recover from how terrible and tired I feel all the time- I am the only one taking care of all of my family members, I clean the house and do the dishes and fold the laundry and cook, and I just don't know how to do all this on my own and earn a living. Apologies again for reblogging this long post, I do not know where to turn to. I am so so grateful for you all staying here and helping me as much as you can. Thank you for all the help
