I got into watching f1 consistently early last year when my friend and i watched dts S7 (ik its not for everyone, but it got me hooked).

My profile picture, the one of oscar piastri riding his exercise bike, got me hooked on OP81 🐨.

I'm from his home country and city, but unfortunately (though, in hindsight it was probably best for the interests of my mental health,) I was unable to go to the melb grand prix this year.

Like many others, I started reading fanfiction as a young teen during covid (re. dramione) and only got back into it late last year with landoscar.

purpose of this account

I wanted to collate Lando Norris/Oscar Piastri resources (libraries) for new fans interested in getting into some well written rpf, and for older fans like myself who find themselves lost in page 8 and beyond of the results page who are struggling to find works that they can still connect with. Obviously, these recommended works are chosen from the positionality of my own literary preferences, so if you do not personally enjoy the style that they are in, that's okay! Expect to see a post soon explaining how and why I choose certain fics. If you ever have any recommendations, please comment or message me directly, or use the ask function and I will read and update my lists. The "libraries" are constantly being updated with new and old fics.

I can not thank you enough for recommending from my body, flowers shall grow by @sincerelylancelot. It was previously saved on my Mark for Later, but you pushed me to finally read it.

It was for me, too, a tearjerker of a work that tore my heart out. Beautiful reflections on mortality and existentialism, in a way I could not prepare myself for. With the wonderful plot came beautiful storytelling, lexicon, and syntax. An exquisite piece of rpf.

You gave me exactly what I was looking for with that agnst. Thank you @shiarebzu! Your recommendations are welcome anytime, you have great taste.

I am exposing myself here, but I have not yet finished that chem lab report for uni. This is of course because I am unable to conjure up any care for a discussion on a botched iodine clock prac. So, once again I logged into AO3 to repair the damage by doing something good for the community: recommending an rpf work I have just reread to procrastinate uni work. Except this is not a kind natured recommendation, as I reread to pursue masochism. Angst, or perhaps more aptly put, emotional torture, is the blade I drew and promptly stabbed into myself with this recommendation. I have a penchant in the 'romantic genre,' --both in its literary and cinematic constituents--to the motif of unfulfilled romantic endings. And although it is true that rpf fics, particularly in this fandom, tend to almost always have happy endings or positive resolutions, I needed something more painful to satiate my said procrastination. So, here we are today.

I am posting it here, separately, instead of adding it to my long-form library because this is an rpf work that focuses on (past) Lando Norris/Oscar Piastri relationship. Do not worry, this won't become a habit on this account, but sometimes we all need a little emotional flaggilation. I digress--the fic is:
