a huge part of what makes dean so fucking interesting to write is that he KNOWS. he is actually plagued by the KNOWING. he feels so deeply and completely and he is painfully self aware and his internal thought process is rich and multifaceted and then when he speaks or acts it just.... does not compute. something vital gets lost in translation and his actions and his words are almost always at odds with his intentions and emotions and it’s like ok!!! wow!! that really makes him the character of all time to me. just need to get into his head and write about him 24/7
