genuinely never been so sad about a TV show being canceled as I am about The Wheel of Time. it meant a lot to me both as an adaptation of something I loved as a kid and as a stand-alone piece. it was weird and queer and inclusive, with multiple queer relationships and POC as tons of major characters (in a fantasy show, no less!) and so many older women getting to act their asses off and look incredible doing it. the costumes were insane and the music was beautiful, and I’m just so fucking sad, man.

Bro how could you be mad when they do nothing but serve c*nt in that show, and i’m not even kidding. Their costume and wardrobe department as well as hair and makeup departments deserve awards, the effort that goes into each characters own styles progression, and all the different trends and clothing from the regions they go to. you can tell they put thought into it all. I can’t understand how anyone would say the characters outfits don’t work …

wheel of time is the gay fantasy show everyone has been waiting for so why aren’t all of you watching it!!!!why eat scraps (one queer character, non canon ships) when you can dine like kings (multiple canon queer couples, polyamory, homophobia not existing in universe, gay showrunner dedicated to representation, etc). take my hand. walk with me

it's great how there is complete, unquestioned racial diversity in this show, both in the casting and explicitly in the text – the bard says "there's no way to really know where someone's from except by speech and mannerisms" – but there's a single exception, and it's redheads. there's exactly one ~exotic race~ in the wheel of time universe and it's irish people.

Wheel of Time: is it the best fantasy TV series? Yes. But does it have an interesting plot? Also yes. But is it super queer? Yes! But does it treat its characters with a level of nuance and understanding rarely seen in modern television? Hell yes!
