The idea that physical transition is a requirement of the transspecies label is a lie being peddled solely by specific younger Tumblr alterhumans. The term did not originate in the alterhuman community and does not have the same requirements and boundaries that many alterhuman subcultures have. You do not need to transition or to have specific actionable nor hypothetical plans for transition to be transspecies. The label is far more nebulous and broad than just that, and if the word is useful to you, then use it.
