Isvoc's Ramblings

Back in June I made a dragon grimoire page print - mostly very selfishly just because I wanted something like this on my wall. Turns out you liked it too and I have been gently persuaded to make a version with dragons sporting 4 limbs. Here she is ✨ Well, both of them in fact.

All of the projects are finally getting released and I'm so happy to share all the fun work I've been nibbling at in not so distant past!

Here's the first bundle of the illustrations I made for traditionally published version of 'Of Blood and Fire' by Ryan Cahill! The Bound and The Broken has been a series that has been very close ever since I first read it and it's so fun to be able to illustrate the characters for Ryan! This is part one with Valerys being a tiny savage baby ✨ No rabbit leg can feel safe. Babies can be such messy eaters.

I've been reading Songs of Chaos series by Michael R. Miller! I only finished the first book so far [no spoilers please!] and already had a great time. I really wanted to paint something as I go along with the book. Here's Ash. The best and the most kind boy. 🌕🐉✨

I remembered that I'm an adult with free will, tools and hands and I can make my own board art/illustrations/end papers for books that aren't very popular but I love them.

This is Morkeleb the Black from Dragonsbane by Barbara Hambly. As it turns out it's one of my favorite books of all time. I don't want to talk too much about the book itself, you probably just should go give it a read and form your own opinions. All in all I simply love it and I think about it regularly.
