I don't usually do these but I felt like I drew so little this year I was curious to see if I could fill one lol. It was a rough year I'm hoping next year is better, I want to dedicate more time to personal art and improvement.

#Neon Ocean Art #Art of 2023 #[ I'm actually rather surprised I managed to full this lol #I hit a lot of mental lows this year regarding art #this was also the year I had to mostly set art aside for a day job #which really wasn't easy #I'd felt like I failed in some way being unable to support myself on art like some of my peers #but I drew some of my all time favorite art pieces this year and that I'm very proud of #next year I really want to focus on personal art and stuff I wanna draw #as well as improving my skills as I usually feel rather dissatisfied with my work #I'm glad I no longer need to rely on art for my income so i'm hoping that freedom will give me room to grow more ]

What are some of your favorite fun facts abt ur ocs? Either things abt how you created them or trivia abt the characters themselves!

Ooooh thank you for giving me a little moment to talk about my kids!

I'll do something of Blue since he's been at the forefront of my mind for a WHILE! Blue is a robot military general, one of the main characters from my headworld titled No Man's Land, where robots and humans co-exist alongside each other.

Blue is a special case in the world, he was found in an abandoned derelict facility, with no information on who built him or why, but he is strangely bio-mechanical which is very NOT normal for robots. He has various organic systems with no explanation for why he has them.

Blue is fully waterproof, which is not abnormal for the robots on NML, and often when his systems are overclocking and he can't get his temperature under control on his own he has to take ice water baths. So a little fun silly fact, he actually really enjoys drinking water. Given his biomechanical digestive make-up he is able to drink things and just really likes crisp cold water since it both cools his systems from the inside (which he likes the feeling of), but it also sooths/flushes out his bio-mech digestive system.
