I fucking love when people give in-universe reasons for omegaverse shenanigans being a relatively new phenomenon and not just a fact of life. And this is probably my favorite out of all of them. Insane choice, and I want to kiss the author sloppy style about it.

A very sad 46 year old divorced man, not cursed, just deeply sad, already got the same pamphlet in 4 different insurance companies he visited earlier that day: ah... it's really nice, even if deeply humiliating...

It's a new flavour of night terror. She usually dreams of what happened already. Like her childhood. Like Stephanie. She tries not to linger too long on that. It's not of any use to her anyways.

A few months pass, and she almost fully forgotten the dream. But there is something in her subconcious, waiting.

Something goes wrong. They're surrounded, and it seems like there's no escape. Her family will die. Innocents will die. She will die, but it's the least of her concerns at the moment. Yet before the qorst can happen, she remembers something from the nightmare so long ago. It's maybe naive, but she must trust there's a way out. So she straightenes her spine, and screams at the top of her lungs:

"SHAZAM!"

It would be emberrasing if it didn't work, but they would be dead anyways so whatever. The point is, it does work. She sweeps all their enemies down and makes sure everybody's safe.
