Sylus is also smart and old enough to clock a traumatized heavenly demon hybrid who imprinted on someone and not mess with that. It’s not romantic. Elyse is fine with it. He sees no reason to interfere. In fact, it’s safer for both of them.

Getting the actual story out of Shen yuan is like pulling teeth. It takes five near death scenarios two truth poisons and one near fatal stabbing/blood mite healing incident to get the whole thing out. Even then Shen Yuan doesn’t realize he has a crush. Sylus and Elyse realize he does but Shen Yuan does not.
