I’m a panromantic, asexual writer, potter, and architect. I've been doing pottery since I was 7, and I set my life to become an architect around the same time. I read my absolute favorite series EVER (Percy Jackson and the Olympians), which has radically shaped my life, when.... I was also 7. Guess that was a big year for me.
I'm a huge fandom enthusiast who gets way too into the things that I enjoy. I'm in many o' fandom, but you'll mainly find me interacting in the Percy Jackson + Riordenverse, The Marauders (occasionally the normal Harry Potter), Dimension 20, The Shadowhunters Chronicles, The Hunger Games, the MCYT (HermitCraft, Life Series, Empires, etc.), Supernatural, and Stranger Things fandoms.
I'm currently writing a Marauders era fic! You can go to this post (which is extremely long fair warning) to learn more about it, but it follows the characters' journey through Hogwarts and the first Wizarding War (so 1971-1981). I don't know yet if it's cannon compliment, but right now it can be read as one.
I am also in the process of posting a Stranger Things fanfic that is really a character study of Mike and Max and their friendship. You can find it here, and hopefully I'll have an info post soon. It should have weekly updates with 6 out of 8 chapters completed.
I do not support any type of oppression. I'm a very moral person, and I don't like it when people are getting hurt. I don't care if it's a government who's doing it, or a group of otherwise good people. If they're hurting people, I don't support it and will go to lengths to go against it, fuck whatever rules are set in place. I'll happily throw hands and get in trouble for it, I don't care.

My favorite artists as of the current moment are Barns Courtney, Skid Row, Hozier, and Queen. I have a very wide range of music that I listen to, but whenever one of their songs comes on, I just get really happy. (Adding to the list: The Crane Wives, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Lincoln, Linkin Park, Maneskin, Dead Poet Society, Paramore, and Don McLean)
I am a proud user of the block button on here. If I don't like/whatever a blog is doing doesn't sit with me right, I'll block it. Curating content is a very important thing, and my mental health is bad enough without a dash full of things that make it worse. Same thing goes with the content I make: if you have something to say about it and aren't being respectful about it, your comments will be removed and your blog will be blocked. I don't take shit.
I figured out I was asexual when I was very young. When I was in fifth grade my friend told me how sex worked and I fully didn't understand wtf was going on with that. Being sexualized and talking about sex in an explicit way makes me extremely uncomfortable, it always has. I don't like a lot of things in a lot of fandoms because it is hyper-sexualized and just makes me want to curl up and die (Yes I'm looking at you Jegulus, but I'm planning on writing it different because I do enjoy the ship). If you sexualize any part of this blog or me, we're going to have a serious issue.
I love writing, but I'm still in school, so I don't have the time very often to do so. I try and do the best with what little time I do have, though. If you want any writing advice of any sort, feel free to ask. I love helping people, and if I can do that with something I love, it's even better.
I play video games! My favorites are Minecraft, LoZ Breath of the Wild, and Brawlhalla. You won't typically see this type of content on my blog, I just kinda wanted to throw it out there.

i love the idea that, since Peter is still understandably human, he still gets freaked out and stressed sometimes, meaning his arachnid hormones still spike. Since he got rid of his inhibitor (assumably), he can’t really control it whenever things get really bad, so he still occasionally loses control
imagine he’s with Frank after something traumatic happens and his mask comes off somehow:
He has literal spider dna and still gets freaked out watching them (ayyy arachnophobia my man).
He forgets to tell frank about the spinnerets and one day they’re just hanging out without the suit and Peter shoots a web and Frank tries to beat him with a broom
“WHAT THE FUCK EVEN ARE YOU??? WHEN COULD YOU DO ACTUAL SPIDER SHIT??”
“I- man i’ve always been sticky. Im just…. Part spider?? More than before??”
Ned learns about the spinnerets and slowly goes “….do they come out of—“
“NO Ned they do not come out of anywhere else” but secretly Peter is on cloud 9 because his best friend is back
I like the idea that Fig, specifically, always stands on Fabian's blind-side. not only cuz she's just very protective of her friends, but also cuz she's never quiet so Fabian always knows she's there without having to see her. she's always rambling, humming a tune, thumbing idly at her bass, chains and jewelry jingling and boots thunking as she walks

shut up spiderman brand new day was always going to be about platonic love and ned leeds. people you find and build yourself around for years and years. platonic love that is muscle memory because you know them so well it isn't knowledge anymore but intuition. ned's amnesia not being able to stop him laughing with peter, sharing their interests, drawing from old muscles with a handshake his body remembers even if his mind doesn't. peter who finally reaches out not because he was in love with anyone, but because he missed his best friend. because somewhere deep down, ned missed him, too, because even if ned didn't remember, he still lost his best friend. ned who knew he was missing something -- someone -- from his life and piecing together that it's spiderman because thats the closest he can get to peter. two people who have built their lives, their personalities, around one another because they've always been together, and even when amnesia rips that away, it cannot remove it completely because that place will be empty until a person with the exact same shape can fill it. peter who's missing that same ned shaped hole, and realizing he can't keep ignoring it because ned is such an important person in his life and that being what finally pushes through the spell (and more importantly his own self-isolation as a metaphor for depression)
brand new day and how it's a thinly veiled story about depression, self isolation, and how human connection -- specifically non-romantic -- can save someone from the edge
the theme of spiderman: brand new day being about non romantic love!! the ongoing throughline being that peter needs to not be so alone, that he needs friends. the way jean's story was about her sister. the way frank cried for peter, was soft with him like that, apologised like that because he cared about peter. the way mj's boyfriend doesn't matter at all because what matters is that she's ned's friend. the way the first person who remembered peter was his best friend, his oldest friend because of their special handshake. the way peter being bruce's friend was enough to snap him back from being hulk. the way peter being jean's friend so that she's not so alone is the entire reason we have an ending as happy as we do.
the way these non-romantic relationships are so important to the story.
i love amnesia stories/self isolation stories because they always try and make it about the romantic relationship when it is, in fact, about the protagonist's best friend

mad respect for spider-man brand new day going "no you can't do it alone." so many depression stories where they have to realize they don't have to struggle alone and pull themselves up by their bootstraps, and spider-man goes "nah. you can't. you're going to learn the hard way there is no way out of this alone. you cannot survive if you keep isolating yourself. you will destroy yourself unless you go to someone, find someone to love, because this is not something that can be healed alone. fuck 'you don't need', you can't." finally some media that smacks you in the face with the reality of depression
if you zoom in on ned then spider-man brand new day is literally like what if you felt your heart reaching out for another person so fondly and fiercely that you build an app that connects millions of people just so you can know where he's been and you want to find out who he is behind his many masks just so you can say thank you (and be safe and i love you) and you have a secret handshake in the well of your memory and a lego figurine on your desk and there's another aspect of those memories that your mind can't really hold onto but you keep trying to build a life around those empty spaces and then one day you're eating a sandwich and a man tells you his name and oh.... how could you ever have forgotten your best friend?
a muscle memory of a person a spell could never erase. memories built around a person they cant rip from you because your body remembers. you have spent your life, created a personality with a person as a support, and when you don’t collapse when a spell erases them it means they aren’t really gone, just hidden, and you know there is someone hidden, just not who. then the guy who brought you flowers with a voice that you cant help smile at does a handshake pulled from your muscles rather than your brain and you realize this is your load bearing person and they’re revealing themselves again
the marauders needing to sneak in through a window or something and james going “don’t worry guys, i’ve got this. i’ve got a trick up my sleeve” and it pans to peter like this •__• as james tries to get in as a full deer
