Well I wish I could give this prompt more justice, as I can definitely relate to light and sound sensitivities!  @whumperless-whump-event

Shawn approached a small group, hoping to start a conversation that could get him some useful info. But the harder he focused on their words, the louder noises around him seemed to amplify. Every laugh, every clap, and every beat of the music felt like a mallet to his head. His vision blurred and he stumbled slightly, grabbing onto a nearby table to steady himself. The witness he had finally found frowned, noticing his distress.

This is a “trash day” as in, what I wrote is trash quality but I wanted to get something out lol @whumperless-whump-event

Morgan dropped the food on a table and kneeled in front of the younger agent. Reid heard him pull out his phone and speed dial Garcia. Their conversation faded in and out around him. “...he’s been sweating profusely. His hair is glued to his forehead and his clothes are drenched… his pulse is rapid but strong... his skin feels red and hot… he’s clearly disoriented…”

His lungs burned immediately, and he began to wheeze, the world tilting dangerously. Nightwing tumbled backwards, desperate to get to fresh air. He reached for his rebreather, but the dizziness made it hard to get on properly. After a small struggle with the strap, he got it on as three thugs came into view with masks on.

Today is Day 4 and also the Fourth of July! When I saw the prompt of chronic pain, Eliot became the perfect candidate. You can’t tell me our boy doesn’t have some chronic pains after all the beatings/ way he’s been hurt over his career. @whumperless-whump-event

He was used to the aches and pains that came with his job. It came with the territory. Most of those pains were temporary. Wounds healed, bruises faded, and anything else could be cured with an ice pack (or a cold beer). The chronic pain, however, Eliot resented most.
