The Wolves In The Den

We were driving home from work and she was in co-con, viewing the inside of a two leg town for the first time. We had our windows rolled a bit down, and since we live in a prime barbecue spot, she got a whiff and was immediately interested, moving to co-fronting to sniff the air. She remained in co front until we got home, where I lost some control and went into co-con, leaving her in front alone.

She can deal with being in a human body as long as there’s a human also fronting, because then she gets some of their knowledge. This was her first time alone. All at once, she froze and seemed to have some sort of an existential crisis. She tried to meow, which out of our human mouth came out as a loud “MAAAH”, startled herself, and shot back into co-conscious where she vigorously shook herself off and then started grooming herself to calm down.

I tried so hard not to laugh. It’s not funny, it’s not funny… But damn it, it was so funny. RIP Bluestar. You did good. A new body is a lot. Better luck next time.

❤️ Nope. Self diagnosed with heaps of research. Not in a place currently to get diagnosed for a variety of reasons.

🧡 Roughly 25 - 30 alters, the count sometimes going up or down depending on if you count fragments.

💛 Usually we front for longer periods, with 2 or 3 in co-front or co-con at a time.

💚 We have a fair few introjects, yes. We got 5 from Undertale / Undertale AUs.

🤎 Again, a few skeletons of UT AUs. Technically 4 sentient AI / robots ? we have an angel...and a god. and a bunny girl and a dog boy. and a demon.

🖤 We have a shared minecraft world, some of us leave little gifts in eachother's base. We also buy things we think other headmates would be into when we're out to show them whenever they front.

🤍 Yes, most of us have different playlists. It ranges from hyperpop, to country, to heavy metal, to guitar instrumentals. It's a mess. Don't ask about our Spotify wrapped.

🔴 We don't have any in-system romantic relations, but there are definitely strong platonic and familial relationships. Me and Error are close. There's Comic and Papyrus, who are brothers. There's Gabriel and Hermes, who are practically twins. I might go more into the relationships in another post.

🟠 We don't typically experience total amnesia, but we do have significant memory loss and blurry/fuzzy recollections.

🟢 it varies. and it's difficult to explain. for me, sometimes I don't even notice I've switched. It's a slow process, and with the fact that there's almost always someone co-fronting, it gets confusing.

🔵 Switches are typically a longer process, one alter blurring into another gradually. Though sometimes, if there's a positive or negative trigger, we switch in quickly.

🟣 Not me personally. I can't say what it's like for other headmates.

🟤 All the time, it's usually how we notice we switch in the first place.

⚫️ It's a hard to switch on command, unless it's a gatekeeper or protector required to front.

🟢 mmm sometimes its like a lot of irritation or pressure/pain in our head like physically and sometimes its tiredness/exhaustion (mentally and physically), and sometimes with some alters its more aggressive like being forced/pushed out of a chair and its very disorienting.

🔵 i'd say its like quick/medium switches, it honestly depends

🟣ummmm the host does and i think a few of the others have before but im not sure cuz its never happened to me

⚫ umm the only one that can really control switches is keeper, fearsome, and vesper but keeper can do it the best, i dunno really how

⚪ mhm! it's a cave system :3 frontspace is like a little cave with an open mouth and being in front is like sitting on the edge of the cave mouth dangling your feet off. then ummmm there's like a pathway that goes out of it and thats where keeper hangs out a lot and then past keeper is a BIGGGGG cave with lots of holes and tunnels in the walls that go out to allll different places but i havent gone in many of them, just the one that goes to my pond :3 then on the other side of the biggggg cave is a bigggg lake where the new people usually come from

⬜ Zade makes tide uncomfortable. everybody else doesnt seem to like octavio much but i likes him! he's actually very nice, sometimes he comes to tide's pond and sits with tide :3
