Another post reminding afab trans people not to bind during marching band!! Marching band requires so much exercise. It doesn’t matter what you play or do. Wind players need their lungs, drum line is doing even more carrying those giant drums, front ensemble moves around a ton in their area (especially marimba/vibraphone) and guard does a ton of movements too!! And all that on top of the heat? No matter what it’s unsafe. I got a tight sports bra from Walmart for like $12 and while it doesn’t bind completely, it still does a lot more than nothing. If wearing a bra makes you dysphoric, get a binder from gc2b one size up (recommended to me specially for band by the company themselves)
I didn’t listen and wore my binder and on the first day I passed out. We weren’t even doing drill or playing. It was just so hot and I couldn’t breathe.
People in marching band (from mine and many others experiences in other bands) are often open minded and accepting so it’s not likely you’ll be disrespected. It’s for your safety.

Jean could 100% carry Jeremy on just one shoulder/one arm. Like at first he does it as a dare, Derek maybe swearing he’s stronger than Jean so Jean proving him wrong. But after a while Jeremy just randomly jumps onto Jean’s back and adjusts himself so he’s sitting on Jean’s shoulder. At the end of the championship game they win a clip will go viral of Jeremy just standing there then Jean coming up from behind him and wrapping his arm staking his legs to pull him up onto his shoulder. Jeremy gives the peace sign to the camera with his tongue sticking out as Jean k turns his head to the side to kiss Jeremy’s thigh.
